Gingembre et Wasabi — Restaurant in Lachute

Went for dinner aug 8th 2019. There were two women on staff; one younger and one older with pink hair. Food was okay. The rice was still warm in the roll. Service was below standard. My order was not complete.i went to the counter to inform the woman. By the end of our meal i still did not receive the missing items. We spent over 150$... they didnt bother labelling the rolls, when i asked which was which the lady simply replied " i dont know" and walked away. My french is very poor so i was speaking in english. The interaction with the older woman is what made me write this review. She refused to speak or look at me when i spoke. And when i did she would look around saying " does anyone speak french?" Hi my name is Cathi and I have been coming this place for at YEARS & YEARS and only once did i ever get what I would consider a poorly made spring roll and I’m pretty sure the reason was a new girl so it was no one’s fault. The staff has always been super friendly and accommodating, I am a Celiac and when I place my order they are very understanding and Ready to omit or replace an item. I have been to other Sushi places but in the end I’m always left saying I still love Gingembre and Wasabi better. Visited a local spot hoping to get some fresh sushi. Waked inside the establishment and looked around and asked staff for an English menu. Was pointed to a QR Code on another desk to find the menu. The link did not work and took me to a dead domain name that advertised hair transplant.

Since staff sounded unhelpful and was about to leave when I saw they sold prepackaged sushi boxes. Was hungry so decided to grab one to go. Price was acceptable and sushi was ok. Would I visit again?. Maybe not. Only if I was extremely hungry and had no other...
