A&W Canada — Restaurant in Lake Country

Great service and real fast food, even for breakfast! We ended up coming in at about 10:55am and ordered breakfast, to if the cashier mentioned it was too late for breakfast I would understand and order lunch. We got the GCS and pancakes, which I'm sure the head chef wanted to probably hard boil us at that request at that time and I jokingly apologize! Throughout our eating we heated several other customers arguing with staff about "how breakfast has always been all day." Sure buddy maybe at some A&W's, look up. If it's not on the current menu, it's not available, thought that was common sense. After about the fifth customer complaining about them being late for breakfast and that somehow being her fault. A dude outright said "well you're wrong." To the lady who told the three people in front of him that breakfast was no longer available, because the grilles got turned up for lunch. (Meanwhile I'm chowing on my almost late breakfast.)

All and all 10/10 breakfast with a show, I will definitely be returning as that place has life. (This bit might get me in trouble but I want to add it anyways. The staff here are as Canadian as you me and...

When we walked in to the A&W there was only one person behind the counter. We waited and waited, finally the girl said “ I'm busy, someone will be here shortly “ we could hear the others in the back laughing and joking around. Finally another person came out, she looked at us and said “ I will be with you in a bit “ then poured herself a drink. So we just stood there and waited. By the way, there was only one other person in the place and he was already eating. Well finally we were served, we placed the order and waited for it to arrive. A few minutes later here comes the food. We sat down to eat and found the order was wrong! When I went back up to the counter and told them there was a mistake the girl grabbed the burger and called out the someone in the back, told the person to put a meat patty on this burger. The burger disappeared to the back for a short time then was past back out to the front. The girl gave me the burger, laughed and said “Fixed” The staff was much more interested in playing in the back then working, no customer service what so ever. I had the pleasure of dining at A&W Main street recently, and I have to say, the service was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and taken care of. The team was attentive without being overbearing, and every request was met with a genuine smile.

Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. They checked in just the right amount of times, ensuring we had everything we needed without interrupting the flow of our meal.
