I had previously used Skip the Dishes to order from this location and although the wait time was extended I did receive my order. So I decided to call in so that I left the middle man out and the restaurant would receive all the money from the order. I called in and a lovely woman told me it was on the way. I received a call back from her 15 mins later saying I was actually not in their delivery area. Confused I said but I ordered before from Skip the Dishes, she offered a take out option but reiterated I was not in their delivery area. Confused I check skip the dishes and see that I am indeed in the delivery area so I order through there. I am notified the order will take longer and I understand I'm a bit of a drive so I was fine with that. After about an hour I find that the order is cancelled for being out of the range of delivery. The restaurant must have seen the order, knew it was me who just called and waited to cancel just to troll me. Had I been notified right away I was outside the area I would have given up trying to order from Franco's but the order was excepted only to leave me waiting for an hour without food. With how nice the woman on the phone was I wanted to fall in love with the place but now I have this sad tale to tell anyone who asks about...
Read moreAlthough their fries were nice and crispy, their veal Parmesan sandwich was dry and undersauced as well as their Caesar salad dressing is made with mustard and not close to what any Caesar salad is supposed to taste like.
The food was not the only thing that was disappointing.
When calling their LaSalle location to inquire about their dressing, two of the young ladies working there advised me that they doing fact have another white Caesar Dressing that could have been requested. I then replied letting them know that I was unaware of this option and the Salad is inedible to me. We were trying to find a solution and I was told that they would deliver a regular Caesar Dressing to me, as I was close by. I could not accept as the dressing was already on the salad.
The phone was then handed off to a third person, whose first statement was, “I can’t do anything for you or the salad”. His attitude was completely unprofessional, and he refused to give me his name and told me that if I wanted to talk to him, then I can come see him in person. Again, the “manager” was completely unprofessional and I would never visit this location which is unfortunate as this is supposed to be a “family”...
Read moreMy gluten-free pizza was absolutely delicious!!! It tastes like actual pizza, with gourmet gluten-free dough - it was crispy where it needed to be and soft where it needed to be! If you've had gluten-free pizza from other pizzerias in Windsor-Essex, a lot of the time the pizza is completely crispy all over (hard to eat), or the dough tastes like paper towel, or its barely cooked through because gluten-free bread doesn't cook the same way as regular bread, or it costs $40 for a small GF pizza.
This pizza was sooooo good and very reasonably priced! I will only get my pizza from Franco's now! My sibling and I loved it so much, we talked about it the next morning lol
As for the staff: absolutely the sweetest and kindest people ever! They were so great!!!
If you want to have a good experience and great gluten-free pizza, I recommend heading over to this location! Oh, and the garlic dipping sauce was also incredible!
Thanks for the great service and food!!! Will definitely be...
