We had an incredibly unpleasant experience at this restaurant that left us shocked and deeply disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the server assigned to our table was rude, impatient, and borderline racist.
She quite literally shoved the menus onto our table without so much as a greeting. Then, despite us just sitting down, she came back every two minutes to ask if we were ready to order. We politely asked her to give us a few more minutes, but she responded with a snide, dismissive "okay" that made us feel incredibly unwelcome.
To make matters worse, as we decided to leave due to the uncomfortable atmosphere, she muttered something to the effect of, "I'm not surprised you're leaving," with a tone that was clearly meant to be insulting. The entire interaction was unprofessional, and frankly, unacceptable.
We’ve never been treated with such disrespect in any dining establishment. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the behavior of their staff. No one deserves to be treated this way regardless of race, background, or...
Read moreI visited The Hideout Bar & Grill recently and had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we entered, the woman who greeted us spoke in an unfriendly tone and seemed uninterested in making us feel welcome. As soon as we received the menu, she started pushing us to order right away—even though we had just sat down.
She came back again and again, repeatedly pressuring us to order drinks and hovering around our table, which made us very uncomfortable. We felt rushed and unwelcome, not like valued customers. Eventually, we decided not to stay, handed back the menus politely—and as we were leaving, she remarked sarcastically, “Not surprised.”
That comment, along with the entire interaction, felt completely disrespectful and possibly discriminatory. It’s unacceptable to treat customers this way, especially when we were calm and respectful throughout.
I hope the management takes this seriously. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and respected when they...
Read moreWe went on Friday evening. The menus had symbols for vegetarian and gluten free options. But the menu had absolutely no gluten free symbols next to items. I inquired and the server pointed to a wrap saying it was gluten free….. wraps are not gluten free at all. I asked her to check on the nacho chips in order to be sure that they were corn chips. So I ordered nachos with beef. $33 dollars and I was served stale chips with dried out ground beef spattered. The worst chips I ever had. My sister had fish and chips, she asked for lemon and the server came back saying “ the lemon is under the fish” it was not so she finally brought a sliver of lemon to the table stating that the cook was arguing with her about the slice of lemon. The chicken strips did not have any dipping sauce and again when we inquired we were told that it should be there. Clearly we will not...
