Allô mon Coco Sainte-Dorothée — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Absolutely disappointed. Went here because my usual breakfast place was absolutely packed and decided to go elsewhere that was nearby. the service here sucked. The waitress came, brought us your food and then just ignored us. Never came back. No coffee refill. Didn’t pass by and ask if we were okay, not even once. When my father finally waved her down to order more food (AFTER FINISHING his entire meal) she brought the check…. My dad was livid. He was still hungry and she printed out a bill without just coming to the table to ask if we were okay. He told her that he wanted to order more and she said, “what do you want?” Never apologized for the misunderstanding. We were so upset that my father just paid her and told her to forget about it. She didn’t argue, left and came back to take his cash. My father who also works in restoration couldn’t believe she’d just assume we wanted to pay after barely being in the restaurant for 30 mins. It was as though she just wants the two of us out of the restaurant asap, even though it was a Monday afternoon, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. I don't speak French. But I try really hard with a smile and a terribly English accent. This place doesn't give a rats you know what that I can't speak French. I was treated with such an abandoned prejudiceness by a busboy a Hostess and a waitress and I was asked two or three times why don't I speak French. Apparently my money is bilingual though. Even when I called the place because they screwed up on an outside order, they refuse to accommodate me an absolutely, though I spoke to three individuals, refused to speak any English to me. I would never recommend this place with a smile because even though I was pleasant they didn't smile at me cuz I only spoke English. Definitely despicable Despicable restaurant. Anyone who's from out of town that doesn't speak French, do not go there!!! They don't appreciate any patrons that don't speak their language. Trust me it will ruin...

I go to Allo Mon Coco a few times a month since it has arrived in Ste-Dorothee. I absolutely adore it. The food is really good and as everyone has exclaimed, their potatoes are amazing. There must be drugs in them because I am in love. I usually go for the simple bacon and eggs which comes with bacon, two eggs, some fruit, toast and POTATOES!!! I am always incredibly happy when I go. I have been to to four of their locations and this one is my favourite. There is a waiter there that should give lessons on customer service. Always super nice. He forgot for half an hour to refill my boyfriend's coffee cup and to make up for it, we got free cake. :D
