I usually don't spend time to complain, but the experience that I had at the Saint Dorothy location was horrible , I submitted my order, and right away my sandwiches were ready, I was waiting for three plates to be filled out, to complete my order, after 20 minutes, they brought a new batch of raw chicken Shawarma to be cooked, meanwhile they have been serving a lot of clients who came after me, 30 minutes later I lost my patience and asked , why am I not being served, only to find out that they intend to serve me from the new batch of chicken, which was still raw, and cooking, which I estimated will take another 20 minutes, which brings the total waiting time to about 50 minutes, meanwhile the sandwiches that were prepared earlier were cold and soggy, there was a huge line up and everyone was complaining, I have nothing against this restaurant, cause I have been a client for other locations, with great experience, but the Manager of this branch had no idea of what he was doing, lacking experience, unprofessional, a liar, I witnessed 2 arguments with other clients before me, which was unpleasant, after having our order from the old batch , they handed me a bag with my order, which I later found that was missing 2 items, which I have paid for, The reason I'm writing this is for the owner to know what's going on in his restaurant, if it was me, I'd fire him right away ! And if I could give minus 10...
Read moreI have been an avid Boustan customer for almost 20 years. It is by far my favorite fast-food Lebanese. When the original restaurant on Crescent was sold, I was skeptical about the quality and taste staying consistent. I have since been to many franchise locations and am happy to say that it is as delicious as ever.
Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I found out they were opening a location in Ste Dorothée; just walking distance from home! I have been to the Samson location over a dozen times and sadly, I am consistently disappointed.
The staff is always very friendly, which I appreciate. But I think the franchisee needs more training. There seems to always be something wrong with my orders, including: -Dry beef, chicken, and falafel -Undercooked soggy potatoes -Soggy overcooked rice -Incorrect ingredients in the Creation -Cabbage cut too thick -Unwashed (sandy) tabouleh with too much lemon -Underseasoned fattoush (like eating raw veggies) -Inedible eggplant (so salty it burned the tongue) -Mushy ommlette -Burnt Kafta Arayes -Pain Saj falling apart (wrapped very loosely)
It pains me to give such a low rating. This franchise has so much potential, but it just hasn't reached the Boustan standard I've come to know and love.
I hope things change so I can update...
Read moreI visited this location with a buddy of mine for lunch today. The server took great care of making our order. She was very courteous. We ordered two mixed SAJ sandwiches and an order of garlic potatoes.
What can I say? The sandwich was perfectly made. It was packed full of coleslaw, vegetables, garlic sauce, and succulent chicken and beef. The meat was expertly seasoned and very juicy. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. Right before serving us, the server placed the assembled sandwich on their grill for an added crunch. The sandwich was one of the best that I've had in quite a while from any Lebanese restaurant.
Then the potatoes... the container of garlic potatoes was running low, so the server decided to make us some fresh ones. Two minutes later and we were given a nice order of deliciously fluffy potatoes with a healthy serving of garlic sauce on the side. Wow wow wow.
All in all, a very good and filling lunch. We left...
