Ben & Florentine — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Well, where do we start. First the service was one of the worse we ever had in a restaurant. We were a party of 4 and once we were sitted, we waited 30 minutes to see the waitress (Audrey) as she seemed to ignore us. We had to call her multiple times to ask her to take our order and then finally after the order was taken, we waited an other hour to get the food. Second the food was really awful, my eggs had a really strong vinegar aftertaste. The bowl of fruit we ordered was equally awful with strawberries that looked like they were older than me!

There are too many breakfast and brunches spots available in Laval to bother with Ben & Florentine. They had their chances and they won't get my business...

Went at noon on a sunday. Waited a few minutes to sit and not a long wait like the other people are saying in the reviews. There are lots of great dishes!! Lots of choices. The avocado dish is freakin delicious. Amazing breakfast place. Until now, best in the east of laval!

Went a second time and I went from 5 stars to 2 stars. Brought new people with me to try this restaurant that I thought was great, but it turned out to be the opposite. Ordered the same dish and it wasn't the same quality as the first time. Either they changed chefs or they don't keep the consistency and for this reason, they...

I went yesterday and got placed right next to the kitchen. I ordered breakfast and got served cold beans. I asked the waitress to reheat them so she takes it to the kitchen and then heard another lady say that I am a mad customer because I asked for them to be reheated and she thought they were hot enough... I did get a good service from the waitress but the commentary from the kitchen made me feel like a bad customer so will take my business elsewhere if I can't get something reheated without commentary... Kinda lame because I liked the place and been client...
