If I could give no stars, I would.
I’ve been going to this Harver’s on St Dorothee for while now but this one takes the cake.
I went to get food for my kids yesterday at the Harvery’s at St Dorothee and noticed that I was missing my daughter’s nuggets. I tried to call to notify them but since they didn’t answer after about 5 calls letting it ring for minutes everytime, I decided to let go for the day.
Today, I went back to Havery’s physically to get a refund for my daughter’s missing meal. When I got to the drive through, I spoke with supposedly Manager’s son, which also worked there, and when I explained that I tried to call yesterday he said “we don’t pay our employees to answer the phone”. Although I wondered why would a business have a phone if it’s not to answer it. I didn’t want to argue and proceesed to explain what happened yesterday as well as requesting that I get refunded and compensated. He then laughed at my face and said “I’ve never had anyone request that before and makes me think that what you’re telling me is true?”
Although I did get refunded after all these unecessary comments and laughters, I am extremely disappointed in this employee’s service. After reading some of the reviews, which I think he should do himself, I come to understand that this is completely normal when it comes to this location.
I NO NOT recommend this location to anyone who would like to have their orders done right. I understand that mistakes happen, but indirectly calling a customer a lier as well laughing at customer’s face is not...
Read moreJust experienced the worst customer service of my life! I ordered 2 burgers and a poutine. The burgers were done in time but they screwed up my poutine and gave it to the person who ordered 2 propel after me. Instead of apologizing and explaining what happened, the employee shrugged his shoulders. I waited 15 minutes for a sime poutine. ..5 people were served before me, who were in line after me. Extremely disoriented teenagers as employees. They were arguing amongst themselves about what do.. Really..another 3 orders were messed up in front of my eyes. Half of them were using gloves, and the others not. The guy who serviced me didn't use gloves, dropped a piece of chicken on the floor and put it in my poutine! Another one was touching a dirty cloth, and rubbing his face and proceeded to make a sandwich with his bare hands for a customer. 2 other clients got frustrated and started raising their voices.. Clearly there was no manager present, amongst the 6-7 incompetent employees. If there was, he or she needs to be fired! Some people really deserve their minimum wage. I'm not writing this to trash the place. On the contrary, I want the owner to fix it and serve people accordingly with good customer service, strict emoyees policies and cleanliness! 1 of the employees threw an olive on the floor while he was making my burgers!!! Read moreI don’t usually write reviews and I work in the food service industry myself so I understand it can be overwhelming however I ordered an all dressed vegi burger (I can taste the charring of the patty but didn’t mind too much) it didn’t even have the sauce inside, I also get it in a combo but didn’t receive my fries. We were ordering for 4 and only had 1 fry with everything (original order: 5 burgers and 4 fries + drinks) and only received a fry. We ended up making fries ourselves which is fine, but not when you’re paying and not receiving + don’t eat out often anymore and yes I can just add ingredients from home but it was for the convenience. TBH overall Harvey’s quality has went down pre covid and again, I understand it can be overwhelming, mistakes can happen especially during a rush but they just don’t seem to care much at this location anytime I’ve went Also to owner, you need to do a better job at responding and solving people’s concerns and complaints ESPECIALLY when someone said her son got sick after eating from your establishment.
