I think this is why Starbucks is kicking Second Cup’s a@@. It was confusing from the beginning, not sure if it’s because there were lots of people and they work better with a slower flow. We ordered coffee and sandwich combos, picked our sandwiches but had to go back to the front of the line to pick them up and give them to the counter. Then we placed a coffee order and weren’t sure where and when to pick them up. They don’t need to write the names on the cups like Starbucks does but there has to be an understanding from the customer went to pick up the drinks. There seem to be a lot of stuff with each other to create a flow. It was confusing for us and imagine it was the same for others that were waiting in line. With pumpkin lattes pumping out, how do you know which one is your order. I thought the staff worked hard to make the effort but they fell short. So they get an extra star for that. Was delivered the wrong coffee but they corrected it immediately! Sandwiches were toasted but cold inside. Read moreWent last night with my daughters at 6pm, the café closes at 8pm. When we came in a rush came in with us. While we were waiting to be served, one of the employees was so mad and rude about the "sudden rush". She kept on complaining to her colleague that why did all these people come in now (still 2 hrs to closing !). My cappuccino was awful tasting. But the girls enjoyed their smoothie and iced coffee. The pastries were meh. The "croissant muffin" was delicious until we hit the filling. The Chocolate "lava" cake was flavorless and the cookie had no filling except the heart section. A little sad cause this used to be the "go to place " my husband and I used to go to many summer nights. We would sit and enjoy our coffee and a pastry while sitting outside.
While we were sitting outside, the employee came out to clean up and once again she was so angry and started asking people to move their legs so she can sweep.

When we pointed this out, she asked us to repay and she said that she will tell her boss to cancel the previous one. We asked her to give us the receipt, but she did not give back the receipt and said she should give the receipt to her boss to cancel, and we accepted. After about 10 days, we didn't receive the refund and even the phone number on Google maps was incorrect and we could not call them. Today we finally went there to ask about the refund, but they refused to refund without a receipt. When we explained the story, they told us that they don't have our receipt.
