Let's start off on a positive note. My main course, the lamb shank, was very good. This is why they're getting a 2 star rating.
Salad bar: In a Syrian delicacy restaurant, there's not one real middle eastern salad in that bar. No taboule, no fattouch, no hummus... nothing of what is expected. Then you look at the menu and all these items are in the cold appetizers and are over priced. Totally missed the salad bar concept. In my opinion, and here's a free industry advice to the owner. Either charge an additional 5.99$ per person for a real middle eastern salad bar or raise the main course menus by 3$ each and provide real middle eastern salad.
Service: We were very well recieved, very polite and courteous. The buck stopped there. It took forever to get our appetizers. I believe it was the owner who came and asked us if everything is ok and don't worry we haven't forgotten about you it's just we're very busy today (restaurant was 2/3 full). We then thought great we're going to be taken care of now. But no the extra slow service continued and we felt full before the main course came because we waited too long.
I was honestly really looking forward to try this restaurant. Looking at the online reviews, really pumped me up for it! Unfortunatley the experience was nowhere what...
Read moreThank you to the whole team at Nazareth for their phenomenal and welcoming service. Last night we celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday. The owner was very accommodating by allowing me to set up my decorations. The service was fast, efficient and family oriented. As I was setting up, I noticed they were disinfecting and cleaning everything. They paid attention to details, the food was amazing, the mushroom soup was velvety and tasty, the calamari were golden and tender, the cheese rolls crunchy and creamy. The kebbes were perfect texture. The pitas so soft and their salad bar was varied, fresh and tasty. The main dish, tender filet mignon and tasty grilled chicken served with grilled vegetables, basmati rice and onion salad. We enjoyed every bite. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's bring your own wine and they supply the ice buckets. Their prices are fairly reasonable. They were very patient and tolerant with my grandson who is autistic. Again thanks for making our celebration really special. Congratulations, keep up the great work. We'll surely...
Read moreExteremely poor service. The rude waiter/host asked us if we had a reservation at the door and when we said no he rolled his eyes, eventhough half the restaurent was empty. Then he basically ordered us to go sit down. He told us he'll bring us soup and then serve salad, but they have an open salad bar. Confused, I went to grab some salad after the soup and then he started yelling at me that I shouldn't be at the salad bar... why would you have an open bar, if the clients are not supposed use it?! He took the plate out of my hand and then asked while yelling, what I wanted... we wanted to leave at that point, but stayed because we were too hungry.
Anyway, this guy is not the type of prson who should be working at a restaurent, he was clearly stressed out and was stressing all the clients out by running around and shouting the whole time. The food is actually alright so it's a pitty. Won't...
