By far the best meal in our 18 day Quebec adventure! Staff we incredible, food was incredible. I had a veal cutlet in a peppercorn sauce with fresh veggies, partner had an off-the-menu gluten and dairy-free cutlet with asparagus and lemon with some gluten-free noodles - both dishes we prepared and presented with professional care and tasted fantastic. We also enjoyed one of the best red wines we’re ever had, and we’ve had some good ones! This was a 2017 Amarone della Valpolicella classico by Lenotti, which was stunning! Small place went for special occasion. Left unexpressed. Waitress accused me of tipping $2 when the tip of 4 was $33. Never ever open a mouth without getting your eyes checked first. Service slow for a week day. Bread rolls close to non existent. One serving of four. Then when asked for more she threw the serving of two that’s all I have knowing we placed our order for food. A lovely restaurant with a nice terrace that I discovered yesterday!! In the front it looks like just a house, but the entrance is from the garden behind. Amazing terrace, cosy, with calm Italian music, à la chandelle!!! The food is tasty and delicious, i had cheese as appetizers with hot bread, Escalope for main entrance and sorbe for desert.
