Although I cannot comment or rate based on food because I was not able to try it, my one star rating is based on the disgusting service I received. It was a Tuesday night and I called the restaurant to make reservations for 9 people (I had 6 people from Italy in town) I was told that they "do not take reservations after 6:30 pm) I asked if they could make an exception and he said no you'll have to come and its first come first served. I arrive there at 7 pm with my group of 9 and is told " The wait is 1 hour and half and by then the kitchen will be closed" I was furious. I asked how they couldn't put two tables together for our group or if they could make us a table outside and was told no " were too busy, the waiter is very busy and cannot wait on a large table outside". This is not my problem that you are busy and that you re understaffed. This is unacceptable. The staff did not want to accommodate and left a negative impression on my out of town guests. All this to say that we decided to drive to Sushi Palace in St. Laurent who we called on our way there from Ste. Rose and guess what? THEY TOOK RESERVATIONS AT 8 PM for a group of 9. The service there was great, and food was excellent. I am glad we ended up at that one because the decor was gorgeous compared to the dingy one in laval. A Chain restaurant should have the same policy everywhere, it is clear that the one in Laval doesn't care about customer service. Will never go...

Visited Sushi Palace in Ste-Rose to celebrate my wife's birthday, along with my two kids and my mother-in-law. Upon arrival I was informed that they could not seat us because my wife and eldest son had not arrived yet (they were en-route and set to arrive within 5 minutes) Now waiting at the entrance with my youngest son, who is bouncing all over the place, all I wanted was to sit down and settle in.

I asked to speak with the manager, and a waiter came over claiming to be a manger, I explained the situation and was told by him that this was the restaurants policy for groups. A policy which I understand for larger groups, keep in mind we were only 5 people (including a young child) The manager then proceeded to reinforce his position by saying that this is the restaurants policy and that if I were not happy the door is right there !!! I was in shock !! He then turned around started to walk away, not before turning back towards the hostess and telling her not to bother him with these types of stupid problems .. They obviously do not understand customer service and feel that my business was not important to them so we left and went elsewhere. Never again...

Sushi Palace used to be an awesome restaurant. I say that because I used to really enjoy this restaurant. I like the huge food diversity for the moderate price. Everyone who comes can find things that would suit their tastes. My only concern is that since the restaurant growth, the prices stayed the same but the quality took a huge hit. Everything seems rushed now. Food is often overcooked. General tao for example is often stiff and dry. Sushi have ingredients like avocados that are less than fresh (black/brown). The glasses and ustensils are often dirty and have traces of old food. I use to come here many times a year, but this made me go elsewhere for better quality at the same price. This is a good place for family and people of various taste. The service is always very quick and the waiters are nice. I just wish they would return back to the way they...

Before it was a good place. Unfortunately now is not the same. It’s the second time that we go and they hurry us to leave, they say is the covid but that haven’t happened to me at other restaurants. So we eat stressed because of the time and the plates took long to arrive. Not very worthy for a +80dL bill. Also they didn’t want to let us in with a stroller, at the end they did, but it took them long to give us a solution. I just think they need a better customer service approach for the price you pay. Hope you guys can get better !

I liked the food and service. One of the fastest all you can eat sushi places. This place is packed on weekends. We waited 40 minutes for a table. I would have given it 5 stars except for the atmosphere. The restaurant looks pretty boring from the outside. The interior deco is very simple. It does not do the place any good. I wish they work a little on the decoration of the place. On the weekend, the menu has a few extra items to try. That was cool. Just get ready to pay $50 or more per person. Will probably go there again.

Place looks nice inside. Waiters were friendly and made sure we had what we needed. Food was great. The sushis were huge though. Like the hosomakis and futomakis could have been cut in half atleast. But, they were still delicious. My favorite were probably the unagi nigiri and octopus nigiri. The main dishes were great too. The szechuan fish was great. Other favorites were the tempura fries and fried calamari. The yakitoris were average, specially the beef one, a bit chewy. Great place for families!
