Legends Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Lethbridge

My family and I went in for dinner. The only reason why my review is a 4 star and not a 5, is because there’s no half ratings… I’d give it a 4 and a half if I could! The servings were a very generous size. We started with the cheese curds. They’re delicious. (I’ll be paying for that choice today 😅) Then we ordered the steak sandwich special with the mushrooms, the guys ordered it with the pasta (which looked delicious) and mine was with fries. The server was lovely and informative, but she definitely seemed very rushed, whereas we are very used to having a moment or two with the servers when we’re out. She definitely seemed to lack patience or was tired. Giving that it was later in the evening (9pm), I’m offering understanding that she could’ve had a long night. The general atmosphere was good, plenty of seating and no overly loud groups. The music was a fair bit loud but we could still chat, and that’s coming from a group that just left a concert. Overall, each time we’ve been there the food has been very good, the last server we had was awesome, this time there could’ve been a little more patience, but other then that she was very respectful and kind. So far ive been here only twice the first time have nothing but great things to say, great food, great service. The second time however.... I go in after work with the guys from work at around 2:45 they all order drinks which dont arrive to the table for probably 10 minutes (2:55 ish) the whole time we were there wich waa roughly around 2 hours i think the waitress came to the table maybe 4 times... We actually had to go find her and ask if we were still being served. It was not busy the waitress just seemed annoyed we were there. At the end of it we asked the waitress some simple questions about the bill because we diddnt know that happy hour had started so we were confused about some drinks being cheaper than others. And during this time the waitress was very snippy and passive aggressive. Apparently happy hour started at 3pm we got our drinks at 2:55 (ten minutes after ordering them) but they couldnt give us the happy hour discount, ive been to many bars in this city that say "close enough".anyways Im not going to let this visit put too much of a negative spin on my views of this place and ill try them again but this...

This place has become a joke. Owner Tony sitting at the bar. We had ordered a pizza. After waiting for 45 min we finally got our pizza. However the smell coming from the pizza was horrible. It’s smelled burned. It was burned and absolutely would not feed it to my dog. So I waived down a man who was working here (found out later it was tony.) he told me straight to my face I ordered a well done pizza. I have never heard of a well done pizza. And didn’t even order that. Even if we ordered well done that is still not burned. However the owner kept arguing and so on. Luckily the manager came by so I gave the pizza to him. Gladly he has great customer skills. He took the pizza and made us a new pizza. I just can’t believe that a owner has such a bad customer service. He shouldn’t be out on the floor period. Let him do the ordering or something else than bothering his customers. Maybe it’s time for bar rescue. Also the draft beer taste has been off lately. Not sure if they clean the lines or what....
