OPA! of Greece Lethbridge South — Restaurant in Lethbridge

This is usually a good location but the last 2 times I have ordered food it’s been terrible. Today I went in and order an ops platter with gyros and a chicken wrap meal. Always every single time I have ordered food since the day this location opened the meat goes onto the grill first thing to start heating. Today the girl put it on as an after thought at the end of the order. She didn’t squirt any of whatever is in the bottle they normally skirt and didn’t put a cover on. The meat wasn’t even spread out. Needless to say it was still cold when she took it off. I told the other girl it was still cold and to please put it back on the grill. She did for maybe 30 seconds and the meat was still cold. The rice had no vegetables in it and when I asked if they had stopped putting carrots in parsley in the rice she opened a drawer took out a container of cold raw shredded carrot and dumped some on top of the rice. The chicken for the pita wrap also wasn’t put on the grill and was taken out of a warming drawer. Again I have never had this before it is always been heated on the grill. The fries hadn’t been seasoned and she didn’t put croutons in the Caesar salad even though o said yes when she asked. With the rising cost of eating out , it’s not worth going if it’s not at least good. Not worth the money and I won’t be...

Too bad you use SKIP! I wonder if you know how much more we who use SKIP get charged, on your food, and hidden fees we have to pay behind the scenes for unacceptable food presentation and taste, as well as lack of quality control. The first time I ordered, I thought the food was well presented and fresh. Today...OMG...even with $10 off and the hidden fees and upcharges, I get a stick with less than what I would call beef.( regrettably called souvlaki) when it looked like 4 dry burnt toenails on a stick. I couldn't even bite into it. Wasted. 4 little perfectly uniform "filafel" lol with a token overcooked French fey in the bag. Maybe time to clean the fryer and FYI those Filfel nuggets cost me $5,19 for 4. No pride in this establishment at all.Also a terribly stale and old tasting famous Greek potato? Yikes. Paid a lot of money for the rest of the meal too. A bunch of rice thrown in containers with a bit of onions, tomatoes and chick peas. SKIP gave me a teeny little refund for this terrible display of pride in taste and service, which OPA did NOT provide. Also took 45 minutes to arrive??? Don't offer me free stuff!!! I'll never eat...

Upon arriving I was greeted with someone's discarded underwear in front of the restaurant parking lot. The interior of the restaurant was mediocre and needs a cleaning. Female staff at front counter speaks poor english/difficult to understand. Ordered the chicken souvlaki platter with Greek salad and potatoes. You get 1/2 of a potato, 2 kalamata olives no more, 1/2 teaspoon of feta and when I asked for a bit more she said it's extra. She asked if I wanted a bag and I said yes, but she failed to inform me it was .25 extra. 10 mins later I arrived at the hotel room to find the now soggy paper container had absorbed most of the salad dressing.
