A&W Canada — Restaurant in Lillooet

Delayed update BUT 1 star remains. We thought we would give this location another shot over 1.5 years later on December 24, 2024. I don't know if this is every location now, however, this SHRINKFLATION is absolutely deplorable and disgusting. A double teen costs $10.49 in Canada yet what they are serving in lillooet definitely is not worth that. I'm including a picture for this review. It now appears that they don't even use proper burgers anymore instead they look like preformed crap like you would get at McDonald's. It's supposed to have bacon yet it has MAYBE 1 piece cut in half but doubtful. My hubby got an uncle bacon cheddar and he got 2 pieces of bacon cut in half. So what happened to quality no antibiotic real meat burgers with 2 full pieces of bacon. Cause this burger makes my decision not to eat here again even more validated.

Well don't know who took over but your customer service has gone to the garbage. As of today June 20, 2023 at 12:55 pm you lost two LOCAL customers. Why because your drive thru staff couldn't be bothered to do their job properly or even listen. Took 4 times saying the first part of the order and the second part wasn't even taken. No apology or anything from the guy working the window when he was told the order wasn't even finished....

One of my absolute go-to stops whenever I am on the road is this location, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently fresh, tasty, and served quickly, which makes it perfect for both a quick bite or a more relaxed stop. Personally, I really enjoy the Masala Veggie Burger and the Crispy Veggie Burger—both are flavorful, well-prepared, and stand out from typical fast-food options. That said, I still appreciate their classic Buddy Burgers, which are always reliable and satisfying. The variety ensures there’s something for every mood or craving.

What makes the experience even better is the PRET coffee they serve—it truly feels like the cherry on top of the whole meal. The rich flavor and smooth finish pair perfectly with the burgers and make the stop feel more complete. Overall, I love coming here and would highly recommend it to anyone passing by. Update 6 months later - eggs are still swimming in oil/grease. I guess we’ll be looking for a different please for breakfast.

Since new owners took over - food has gone down hill! We got the big breakfast a few weeks ago... the eggs were swimming in oil ... and the rest was luke warm! Last week, went for a lettuce wrapped burger and 2x Chubby Chicken burgers ... had to wait 4 minutes for the second chubby... which came out hot BUT the rest of the order was luke warm!

I appreciate the learning curve for the new owners ... but listen to the staff that have been there a lot longer!

And please, please have folks who speak clearly on the drive thru ... for those of us with hearing issues it's difficult as it is. A mumbler, quiet speaker or ESL speaker just makes it that...
