I went on a Thursday night that wasn't busy and was promptly greeted by a smiling gentleman, who then swiftly served me. The large chicken plate was delicious, obviously made with love and effort, you could tell everything on the table was fresh and hot. The only thing this store is missing is, more customers! the owner is amazing and humble he is very welcoming to every customer no matter what , the food is amazing ( cooked by his grandma who is 83 years old and has been cooking since she was 14 ) it taste authentic and filled with love . J’ai récemment visité Assiette Lakay & Marche Lakay Express, et je dois dire que c’est l’un des meilleurs restaurants haïtiens que j’ai essayés à ce jour.

Cuisine : Les plats sont généreux, bien assaisonnés et préparés avec soin. Le griot était croustillant à l’extérieur et tendre à l’intérieur, accompagné d’un pikliz parfaitement épicé. Le riz collé, bien fumé, m’a rappelé les saveurs de la cuisine maison. Mention spéciale à la sauce pois — un vrai délice !

Service : Le personnel était accueillant, souriant et très attentionné. Malgré l’affluence, le service a été rapide et professionnel. On sent qu’ils aiment ce qu’ils font.

Ambiance : Le décor est simple mais chaleureux. On se sent tout de suite comme chez soi. La musique créole en fond ajoute une belle touche d’authenticité à l’expérience.

Un grand bravo à toute l’équipe. Je recommande sans hésitation !
