Méchant Steak Magog — Restaurant in Magog

Ordered 2 their best STEAKS for myself and my Girlfriend. A Ceaser salad for me. The Salad was missing capers, The waitress said I'll give you a free dessert." I agreed. Almost 90minutes after eating the salad our steaks arrived COLD. the waitress was not around , went to the manger and asked why our steaks and vegetables were cold. I made him touch my steak. He offered to RE-Heat them. My girlfriend is diabetic, she had to eat A 🥶 STEAK and sub par vegetables. I sent mine back waiting for the waitress to come over... Never came back. Talked to her friends two tables over. So 90minutes later the manger brought me a different steak. No vegetables and not the steak was not the cut I had ordered 3 plus Hours ago. I kept my cool & Said We are leaving. Made Me pay Only Half of the bill.. WoW. So they gave us a free dessert.. I Took it and was walking out the door when my better half grabbed a few Free Mints. I was very hungry, She gave me two, and she put one in her mouth and said this taste like soap. I put mine back. Let's just say For a place that was recommended by meny people.. We were very disappointed with the service and Especially the food. P.S. I shared our experience with all who recommended your establishment. It took me till now to politely say YOUR WAITRESS WAS INCOMPETENT, the manager was indifferent to the situation of my Girlfriend being diabetic. Knuff said. P.s. NOBODY even tasted the...

Nous étions un groupe de 8 pour un jeudi soir, soirée steak frites pour 25$, apportez votre vino. Les entrées étaient bonnes, un plus pour les crevettes épicées, excellente cuisson pour la viande, frites excellentes aussi. Quelques points ont été perdus pour le long service initial (15 min avant qu’on vienne nous voir ; une serveuse qui court et les autres qui ne semblaient pas partager sa pression), pas de sceau de glace pour le vin blanc, une certaine pression à quitter le resto sur le bord de sa fermeture (ils acceptent les réservations de 20 h mais la place ferme à 21 h), ma fille a trouvé 2 cheveux qui ne sont pas les siens dans ses ribs (excellentes en passant), et overall la présentation de l’assiette de steak frites manquait de punch. Tout le plat est excellent mais juste steak et frites, on aurait souhaité n’importe quoi en accompagnement pour rehausser l’assiette. La présentation n’a pas fait honneur au gout en bouche du plat. Ceci dit, si vous avez envie d’un super steak, le Méchant Steak est un bon endroit pour se satisfaire à prix raisonnable. Les microdétails que je rapporte ne sont pas majeurs et l’endroit mérite une seconde chance très certainement de notre part, même si la compétition est parfois méchante...

Great place to eat steaks. I had the entre-cote and it was just fabulous. They have great choices of foods for kids. My kids enjoyed their burgers and steaks. They also have an ice cream desert for kids.

We also liked their fresh warm bread served with a side of olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Since it is a place where you can bring your own wine it makes the bill...
