Maybe it was an off night. We tried calling three times to place an order, but ended up having to walk over there. That should have been a sign. The lady was very nice, and the food only took about 15 minutes.
The wonton soup was decent with a generous amount of wontons. It went downhill from there.
The only difference between the Pepper Beef and the Beef with Mushroom was the pepper in the sauce and how the green peppers were cut. There was at least 2 full green peppers. One sliced, one diced. There was a boat ton of veggies which neither one of us like. Very skinny on the beef and way too much sauce. Literally had to double bag the trash can so it wouldn't leak.
The dry ribs were more like heavily breaded pork bones, but definitely dry all right.
The egg foo young was okay,. Just ok.

Many Asian dishes, mainly because of the variety take a while to prepare. Yet Wok with Chow's delivery times have mostly been 40 mins or less. Amazing compared to TB or Ottawa! And the food....what can we say? The rice is always cooked to perfection, never soggy or too hard. The veggies are never too salty and the egg rolls are the best within a 300km radius. Sometimes on Sundays, after a few beers, I get my kids to take turns driving the 5th wheel down to Marathon from TB, while I watch football in the back. Too bad because what was ordered was delicious.
What left a bad taste was being treated as a second class person.
We arrived and a party at a table of 8 was finishing up, which would have been great for my family of 5. We were told 45 minutes wait. A party of 2 men came in after us and these men were told that they could have their table in no time. We had no choice but to do take out as the restaurant was full. To our horror when we returned to pick up the food, the large table was given to the 2 CAUCASIAN MEN who came AFTER us.
