Ok, on our trip across Canada we wanted some kind of diner food and took a chance on this restaurant. We pulled up to what we thought looked like a dead mall. We were a bit worried to be honest. We were sat and looked at the menu and it had something for everyone in our group (two adults and two kids). The service was fantastic - very friendly and kind. The food was beyond what we thought it would have been by far. My son raved about their poutine. My fiancée had the soup and it was a hearty hamburger soup. The place is dingy and the booth look like they are 100 years old.
I have boycotted this place since this experience last winter: I was with a group of friends, both men and women. The owner came over to our table and turned on the charm for the men of the group and asked them how their food was while actively ignoring the four women present. Seriously?!
