Went there on a Thursday evening around 5:45 p.m. for dinner. There was only one other table there & the tables still had dividers. There is an option to scan a barcode to see the menu and order online however the one staff on the floor brought us menus and was on standby to take our order. My mom was a bit confused with the options so the lady explained everything to her. She was kind, patient & attentive. Eventually we ordered the beef brisket with egg noodles mild spicy & mild numbness (my order), pork ribs with egg noodles spicy & no numbness & pork belly with egg noodles and not spicy. My beef brisket was so delicious as the meat was tender. I could have gone spicier however I enjoyed the mild spicy since it had a nice kick but wasn't overbearing. I didn't really notice anything about the numbness. The egg noodles were cooked well. My husband who had the pork ribs enjoyed his but said some of the pork ribs was not as tender as the others. He also ended up getting a free noodles refill which looked like it came with double the amount of the original. Lastly, my mom said her pork belly was not fatty enough so it was quite dry. I may come back again for the beef brisket though the price is quite steep at $16. I think if it was $2 less, I would be more inclined.

Hey there noodle lovers and curious readers! I recently checked out Hey Noodles and I gotta say, the experience was a bit of a mixed bowl. Let's start with the noodles themselves - they were decent, but not quite enough to make my taste buds do a happy dance. Now, onto the salty spicy chicken - well, let's just say it didn't quite hit the spot. Papa Chang's version is definitely tastier, so if you're craving some spicy poultry, head on over there instead. Now, here's where things get a bit noodle-y. The price tag for a bowl of noodles at Hey Noodles is pretty steep - $18 for some carbs and broth? Yikes. Sure, they offer free noodle refills, but if you're already stuffed from an appetizer, good luck fitting in more noodles. As for the service, well, let's just say I didn't feel the warm and fuzzy noodle vibes from our waitress. Not the friendliest gal in town, that's for sure. But overall, I'd say Hey Noodles is more of a "meh" than a "wow" for me. Maybe go check it out if you're in the mood for some pricey noodles and lukewarm service, but if you're a true noodle connoisseur, there are better options out there.

I recently tried Heynoodles and opted for the Special Marinated Pork Ribs, accompanied by Salty Crispy Chicken and Pork and Chive Dumplings. The food was absolutely delightful, and what impressed me was not just the reasonable prices but also their commitment to customer satisfaction. Towards the end of my meal, I discovered they were willing to bring out more or substitute meat to ensure a happy and full experience. The portion sizes were generous, and I even had enough for a later meal. The in-house preparation of items like the dumplings added to the overall authenticity. With excellent customer service, reasonable prices, and delicious food, I wholeheartedly recommend Heynoodles and look forward to visiting again.

★★★★☆ (4 Stars)**

Hey Noodles at this Highway 7 location has been our reliable go-to for a while! It's conveniently located inside the Trip Plaza. While the parking lot isn't huge, the plaza isn't usually super busy, so finding a spot hasn't been a problem for us.

The food quality here is consistently good. One of the biggest reasons we come back, especially later in the evening, is because they stay open later than many other restaurants (which often close around 9 or 10 pm). This makes it a perfect option for my wife, me, and our kids after a late shopping trip or activity.

What we order & recommend: Noodles are the Star! Definitely go for the noodles. The best deal is that you can get unlimited noodle refills! This makes it excellent value. On our last visit, we ordered one noodle dish and one rice dish. My wife and I added extra noodles to share alongside the rice – a great way to try both, though the noodles were clearly tastier. Rice Dishes are Okay: The rice dishes are decent but not the main attraction. They are a bit more basic. Appetizers/Sides: The small dishes (like the tasty wood ear mushroom, chicken, and cucumber) are delicious! Just be aware the portions are typically smaller – think appetizer size. They're perfect for sharing.

Atmosphere & Perks: Family-Friendly: They have high chairs, which is helpful with kids. The plaza is accessible, and the restaurant itself is spacious and comfortable – not cramped at all. Stroller access seems manageable too. Cash Discount: They've been running a long-standing promotion: pay with cash for dine-in, and they give you free pop/soda! Comfortable: Overall, it's a comfortable place to eat.

In short: Hey Noodles is a solid choice, especially if you need a good, late-night meal. We highly recommend it for the noodles (go for the refills!), the convenient late hours, the comfortable space, and the cash discount. The food quality is consistent...

There aren't many places open late on weekdays in Markham, so I like that when I'm craving something late at night, I can hit up Hey Noodles (open till 2am). It's a simple place with delicious comfort food at an affordable price. I also like that it's so brightly lit inside.

The service is pretty good, I never have to wait long for them to take my order and the food is always served pretty quickly. Servers are attentive and our water jug was always replaced as it was running low. Also, they have awesome sweatshirts that say "We The Noods" on it. They should start selling those!

They have small appetizers that you can share such as Okra, Cucumber, popcorn chicken, chicken karage, etc. There are also rice dishes and dry noodles, but I like the customized noodle bowls.

Choose your protein/topping, noodle type and texture, the amount of broth, spice level and numbness level. My favourite is the Hot & Sour Vermicelli. I get the regular texture which I personally think is a bit on the softer side and it's perfect for me. I always get it just a little bit spicy and I can add more chili oil if I need to. I don't LOVE the meat toppings here, not sure if it's because of the way that it's cooked or what, but it's whatever. I still have a few more other toppings to try so maybe I'll find one I like. They also have unlimited noodle refills though I've never taken up that offer!

I would also highly recommend the Ginger Milk Tea ($5). It's a little bit on the milkier side for a milk tea but it goes well with the ginger flavour, which is the star of this drink. I also like that it's strong enough because I hate it when I get a ginger drink that barely has any...
