Truly a hidden gem within Main St Unionville, placed right in front of Too Good Pond, perfect place for summer patio season. Went to this little Italian restaurant on a rainy day, got seating relatively fast considering it's got a small seating area. They've got appetizers, pizzas and sandwiches, a small dessert menu and a decent amount of drinks. Ordered the la Fonte tagliere - a nicely decorated charcuterie board that comes with a variety of meats and cheeses, with an amazing fig jam that I wish I could've bought. Though it's weird, I'd literally eat the fig jam on its own, that's how good it is. Also got the rapini and sausage pizza, good combination, a mix of bitterness and salty sausage. Also tried their caffe latte and apple cider, would highly recommend the apple cider - gave a warming feeling for the rainy day. Finished off with a tiramisu which was light and creamy, good on the coffee taste. The seating is limited and they could do with a pasta menu. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back. As a side note for patrons, there is no in restaurant washroom, it's the I believe public one behind the building.

Went to La Fonte with my parents & we had an amazing dining experience. From start to finish, everything was top-tier; authentic, flavourful, and memorable. We ordered from the dinner menu and started with an appetizer of warm sourdough bread served with real Italian cheese; simple, yet rich and comforting. For our mains, we tried the lamb chops, the octopus, and the pasta of the day, which was a delicious all-vegetarian pesto pasta. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and the quality and taste clearly reflected the passion behind the kitchen. To end the meal, we had their tiramisu, and it was hands-down one of the best it was light, creamy, not too sweet. The drinks were also fantastic and complemented the meal well. What truly elevated the entire experience was the service. Every server we interacted with was kind, generous, and made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. La Font is a true gem in Unionville, perfect for a date night, special occasion, or just a chill spot to hang since the pond is around, you can go for a walk before or after and really take in the views esp during dinner hours

La Fonte is a hidden gem tucked by the Too Good Pond—part bakery, part café, part pizzeria, and completely delightful. The space is small, cozy, and romantic, with a beautiful view of the water. It’s the kind of place that feels like a secret worth sharing. If you're grabbing a coffee or a cannoli, outdoor seating is your best bet (and honestly the best option on a sunny day). But if you're there for the pizza—and you should be—make a reservation and dine in. The pizza looked next-level, and we’re already planning to come back just for that. Perfect date spot material: sip something good, share a bite, and take a peaceful stroll around the pond afterward. Maybe even wander into the nearby boutique shops in Unionville. In short: take your wife. Thank me later.

Came here for the first time to try their Gelato and coffee for now. We barely even walked in and the lady that worked there said "hi we close in 15 min". Her tone and facial expression was rude and she didn't seem pleased that we were there. We asked to sample 1 Gelato to ensure we liked the taste and she didn't look pleased at all with our request. She didn't smile once and we were being so kind to her. We felt super unwelcome and didn't deserve that attitude...even if you close in 15 min, you are STILL open and we were just getting ice-cream. We didn't bother with coffee due to the unwelcome feeling. Her scoops of Gelato didn't even fill the VERY small cup. So stingy.

Not to mention their pricing. Why is everything SO expensive? It's not even a tourist spot. It's a pond, not ocean front in Italy. Initially the person at cash typed in the wrong amount ( a big amount) which we had to correct him. Big rip off here and poor service.

Will...
