Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Markham

Ordered food .. total was $22.00 . Gave driver $50.00. driver said he only had $22.00 on him. I notified the person taking the order that we were paying cash ahead of time. I understand drivers work off tips (although it wasn't pizza pizza I used to do deliveries myself). We were actually going to give him a way better tip since it was Christmas and covid and what not. It's not about the $6 I could have easily said keep the change..the thing that got me triggered was the way he tried to pull a fast one assuming we weren't going to tip (he had change for $50 but turned around to get the right amount from his pocket). He took the food back and left once he knew we caught what he was doing... We waited almost an hour.. Called management to complain. She says drivers don't accept 50$ bills and they can't do anything about it..that's fine but why didn't the customer service rep disclose that to us initially when we placed the order? Customer service sucks for a multi million dollar franchise. I ordered about 15 pizzas and apps every weekend for a youth group from multiple pizza pizza locations.. I will take my business elsewhere from now. Shocking and...

Worst customer service experience ever. I purchase from this location on the regular, once orc twice a week. Their pizza is never perfect, but you let it slide because it's still acceptable. Today, like many times before, I ordered my regular pizza with the creamy garlic drizzle on top. Upon opening the box, we notice no visible sauce. I thought he forgot. So I take my pizza box and explain to him what I ordered. Instead of fixing the pizza, the employee starts arguing with me about how everyone makes the pizza differently and how he already put the drizzle on to and baked it. It's there I just can't see it because it's melted. I explain to him that's not how I like it, can you fix it - either make me a new one, or just add some drizzle on top. He outright refused. He was rude, unprofessional and acted like he was giving out free pizza. You get what you get. I asked for the managers number and his name, to which he refused again.

Pathetic service. Don't waste your time at this location. Drive the extra 5 minutes and go elsewhere. Will not be taking my business there.
