Went to this location to pick up dinner for the family as the wife was craving for some Popeyes. Ordered a 12 piece meal, asked for 4 pieces spicy with rest regular, with a Cajun Poutine & mashed potato. Waited for like 10 mins and the cashier gave me the order in the bag and left. Got home, took the food out and noticed that the 6 biscuits was missing. My wife and son are fans of the biscuit and decided to call the store to inquire. Was already annoyed that this was missing and that now I have to drive back to the store to get it. Called the store, said I just picked up this order and it is missing the biscuits. The girl on the phone said, what's your receipts number. At that moment I couldn't locate it and said I was there just like 10 mins ago, she again insisted that on the receipt # and said we have so many 12 pieces orders that I don't know which one you are referring to. What I found interesting is that even if she did find the order what difference would that make as my call is about missing items? And clearly as per their menu the biscuits are included in the meal deal i got. Anyhow, i couldn't find the receipt right away and said I will just drive over to the store then. Luckily I live fairly close, but nonetheless, this was super annoying as I have to make a second trip out for food that the restaurant missed. Anyhow, got to the restaurant walked up to the counter and said I'm the one that called and my take out order didn't have the biscuits. I gave them my receipts. The cashier looked at the receipt and started to talk to a guy who appears to be the manager(Mufis - I had to ask for the name has none of them had a name tag). Mufis(MGR) came over and said, "I don't want to negotiate with you" but I don't understand how the biscuits could have been missing. He goes on to say they always pack the biscuits in the bag first. At this point I am getting really upset and annoyed, asked him what he meant by "I don't want to negotiate" and that the biscuits should have been in the bag? I ask him that do you think I would be making a second trip out just to get some extra biscuits for free? I then pointed out that I'm not negotiating but getting something that I as a customer already paid for that was not given to me initially. He then continues to say I don't want to negotiate with me as if he does not believe me and accusing me of lying. I was very upset at this point, this is not only rude and totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I did not once hear from the restaurant sorry about missing the items, not once did I hear sorry about making you drive back a second time, not once did I hear here is what we will do to make it right for you. I asked for Mufis's name which he proudly and happily gave me and i walked out with the biscuits. Popeyes, is this how you treat your paying customers? YOUR mistakes is my problem and why do I feel like I'm being accused of trying to "cheat" you for food?? I should note, I came to the store in street cloth, very dressed down with a baseball cap. After I left I wondered the way you treated me was that based on my look and appearance? If I came in with my normal work day cloth would that have made a difference and that you would have treated me with respect and courtesy? Obviously your manager or this guys Mufis didn't care enough about what happened, he felt nothing he did was wrong as he was really quick to give me his name when I asked for it. Rest assured I will not forget about my experiences with you and will certainly be an advocate to share my experiences...
Read moreI walk in at 9:57PM. They close at 11PM. The lady in front of me orders a 3 piece chicken tenders meal only to be promptly told, "we don't serve that right now as we're about to close." The lady, rightfully so, responds with, "what does that mean, I don't understand," presumably because the store only closes at 11PM. The female employee behind the counter again reaffirms her initial response and offers the lady wings instead, explaining to the customer that they do not serve chicken tenders as they approach 'close time." The customer leaves the store unhappy, mumbling under her breathe, "this makes no sense." My turn to order. I order a 3 piece combo without the drink and had no intention of commenting on behalf of the fellow customer who left dissatisfied, however after a few minutes upon ordering my meal, the employee notifies me that there are no biscuits ready to include in my meal and she could include extra fries instead. Having witnessed the pathetic attempt at customer service with the previous customer they served, I promptly advised the employee that I did not want extra fries and asked for a refund on the fries and offered to pay only for the chicken. She then gives me a looking utter disbelief and offers instead to give me an extra piece of chicken - I accepted to avoid any further awkwardness. I then asked her to add on an order of chicken tenders to see what would happen. The employee quickly realized I was doing so since I had witnessed her response to the previous customer and yelled ,"the chicken tenders meat is frozen out back so we don't serve it." I asked her if they are willing and able to process the order to which she again said the chicken was frozen. I presume they are lazy and unwilling to have this food prepared or ready to prepare with an hr left to close. What fast food restaurant eliminates menu items available to customers with a good 60 minutes left to close? The employees are absolutely useless. The "cook" at back speaks his own language out loud in front of patrons and is clearly laughing and making light of situations where customers are short handed. There is clear reason why this location has horrible reviews. Utterly horrible customer service, a complete disregard for transparency and honesty when dealing with customers and a bizarre approach to food management/readiness. @popeyes, shut...
Read moreHello,
I always have issues with Popeyes orders most of the times mix ups.
I visited the highway 7 and McCowan branch today at 8 pm to order and pick up my meals. This is the issue:
I had a hard time specifying exactly the four meals I wanted. 3 combo platters and one combo two pieces. I had to repeat multiple times my order. I asked that each order is packed separately instead they put all orders in one bag. When reaching home, I discovered two of the orders were completely wrong and did not get the pieces I ordered، Only two pieces were right. I ordered 2 separate coleslaws in two of the combo platters, I had one medium coleslaw instead. I ordered one buffalo sauce which was missing.
I have pictures of the orders and the written description on each order by staff، The description was wrong and did not match the actual order too.
Unfortunately, ordering from Popeyes has always been a very tidious process. If you want the order number, invoice, details I have it all. I can provide pics of needed.
I will never visit that...
