Starbucks — Restaurant in Markham

Came to this location around 6:15-6:20 pm on May 22 2025. Ordered in person for a trenta iced coffee but barista said they were sold out and only had cold brew. Barista (asian girl with long brown hair) refused to compensate the price difference of the cold brew ( every other starbucks I've been to always gives you another product for the price of the original you ordered) and told me that she can't do that or else "she'll get fired". I paid the full price of the cold brew and she went to make it. I saw her pour 1/3 of the cup with the cold brew pitcher then she proceeded to bring the cup to the tap and add 2/3 water. When asked if this is normal she said "it's because you don't want ice". The coffee she handed me was light brown and not the usual colour I get. When confronted with why she gave so little cold brew she said " or else you'll get a heartattack." These comments are unnecessary and unprofessional. You do not know what I'll do with the drink afterwards. I could be sharing the drink. Overall the experience was disappointing and unprofessional. Please educate your staff to have...

I went to Starbucks today and ordered my favorite caramel macchiato. The taste was still great, with the rich aroma of coffee and the sweetness of caramel blended just right. The environment in the store is also great, with a simple and stylish decoration style and relaxing music, which makes people feel very relaxed. I had a terrible experience at this Starbucks. I waited over 30 minutes just for a simple coffee—completely unacceptable! The staff seemed disorganized, and there was no sense of urgency. If they were short-staffed, they should have at least informed customers about the wait time instead of making us stand around wondering what’s going on. Poor service and a waste of time.
