Tacos dos Amigos — Restaurant in Markham

I ordered 1 chicken taco, 1 pork taco, and 1 beef taco (all mild); walked to a nearby park; and proceeded to demolish all 3 tacos in 8 minutes. Needless to say, they were very good.

Three and a half notes: There were fries in the tacos (just enough to span the diameter of the tortilla- maybe 2-3 per taco). I preferred to just have the meat and toppings, so I picked them out and ate them separately. They were covered in the meat juices, which was delicious. It was as if I had ordered a side of fries with my tacos, lol.

Unbeknownst to me, ordering mild tacos meant that there was no spice in them whatsoever. For all I know, this is what mild usually means when referring to tacos, but since this was my first time, I was surprised. Next time (and there will be many Next Times), I'll be ordering spicy. 2.5. All three meats I ordered were stewed and then shredded, so they sat in a scrumptious juice. My pork and beef tacos' juices were simply savory, but the chicken's was slightly spicy and the meat was tinged with a lovely orange color. Just keep that in mind in comparison to the other meats.

I debated how many tacos I should order, since Google indicates most people spent $1-10 here, but 2 tacos seemed like a bit few to me for a whole meal. I followed my gut, ordered 3, and I am more than happy with that decision.

I just wish these came with salsas, but that's a non-issue, so I give these...

When you only think that side of the road no frills taco stands exist only in Cali and find out they have a summer one set up right in toronto, you have to try it

And not only will you try it, you’re gonna enjoy the offering they have. A nice variety of tacos for any tastebuds and $5 each taco, which isn’t bad by todays standard.

Got the fish taco and the beef taco and so good! The fish was nice and light and the beef was so juicy!

The other thing is get the hot sauce, it’s got a nice kick to it!

Owner is super friendly and so efficient at pumping out the tacos. Found my spot to fill those taco cravings without the high costs!

I drove by this taco stand about a month ago and today I finally decided to give it a try! We walked up to the stand and we were warmly greeted by Enrique who gave us a low down on the menu and the cost. He said they have Chicken, Beef, Pork and Fish taco options and the tacos are $4 each. He also said that he only takes cash, so be prepared! So he took our order which were 5 tacos Toal, 2 chicken, 2 pork and 1 fish and while he was making our taocs, Enrique was so so friendly and conversed with us and told us a little about the history of the stand. We took the tacos to go and the tacos were amazing! So fresh, so flavourful, and the hot sauce was amazing! The meat was so tasty and these tacos are quiet large in size, so the value for money is great as well. Highly recommended Enrique's taco stand to everyone! It's definitely hidden gem tucked...
