Went for the seafood AYCE package. Very expensive for what it is. There are the oysters and scallops in the shell but they’re not very tasty. Also got the runs the night of, most likely from the oysters. Outside of those, there isn’t really anything to write home about. The AYC drink drinks is a nice touch but for $120 ($99 + $19.99), I can buy cases for them.

Speaking of price, the way it works is super confusing. You can choose to do a la cart or AYCE, or a la cart on top of your AYCE package. Depending on which package you selected, you can get your own ingredients from a certain numbered fridges. The more expensive your package, the higher number of fridges you can choose from. And because you can choose to purchase individual packages of ingredients, everything needs to be scanned, or at least checked by the staffs, after you have “shopped” for your ingredients. It’s unnecessarily complicated and it feels like the staffs are there to monitor you from stealing the more expensive ingredients.

The only saving grace is the staffs are super friendly. But the overall experience was not great. There are better choices for AYCE hotpot with comparable quality and choices of ingredients.
