5 stars for a night of family comedy. The service was so horrible we all agreed we could have never had an evening that memorable and entertaining without the almost 3 hours of dining hell comedy we experienced. Honestly wondered if we were on some kind of hidden camera show.
I had called ahead and made a reservation early in the day. We got there a few minutes early and waited about 5 minutes before a hostess even came out to address us. I told her we had a reservation. She said oh I'm sorry someone just sat people at our reserved table so we would need to wait another 15 minutes. Never did ask name or for how many. I had reserved for 7, were taken to a table of 4. Eventually got seated at two tables.
We were given one menu to share amongst 4 people. Server finally came, took our drink order and brought us drinks. He then left and didnt return for about 30 minutes to take our orders. Placed our orders. Waiter return about 15 minutes later to tell me they didnt have ribs so I'd have to pick something else so I quickly orderd wings and ceasar salad thinking everyone else would be getting their food and I'd have to wait for mine. About 10 minutes later they bring out my saucey wings and salad with no napkins or fork for the salad. I waited about 10 minutes thinking our families food must be coming soon? My food was getting cold so I opted to just start eating it. I found a firm enough piece of celery to use as a fork to eat my salad. I was quite the sight with hot sauce all over my face and hands, eating salad with a celery stick.
Finally waiter returned but not with food, this time to inform us they didnt have chicken fingers which was what my kids ordered. Manager came out and apologized offered some free pizza but we declined, asked if we could have menus back to choose something. Kids quickly picked out a pizza and an order of pasta but nobody came back to take their order. Apparently, manager went home and didnt inform the waiter we hadn't reordered? 20 minutes later waiter returns completely clueless kids hadn't reordered. Place their order again, asked if kids could still get some waffle fries cause they were really looking forward to those, "sure not a problem"🙄😂.
My wife had orderd a seafood alfredo dish. She had left our table to go use the facilities. During that time the waiter came back and asked if my wife would like her chicken crispy or grilled. My wife tends to like crispy food so I said crispy. I thought, this should be interesting🤔 my wife never ordered chicken anything.🤷♂️ About another 30 minutes had passed since I'd already finished my wings and covered in wing sauce, they returned to the table with a pizza for my son, not the pizza he ordered but a pizza, he was famished as we are now pushing towards 9 p.m. and he hadn't eaten since noon. Then came my wife's order which was spaghetti noodles cause you guessed it, they ran out of alfredo noodles in an alfredo sauce of some sort, not what she ordered. Then my wife thought I'll just wait till they bring my daughter her food so she isn't eating alone and again we wait and wait . . .nothing finally waiter comes around to see if we'd like some more drinks oblivious that my daughter still hadn't received her order, they some how missed her order, returned about 15 minutes later with a plate of spaghetti alfredo for her. We never bothered asking about the waffle fries again because we knew that would just be to much.
That crispy chicken, found out later, one of my older kids sitting at a separate table orderd a chicken burger and I was ordering the crispy chicken for her but she likes the grilled chicken fortunately as luck would have it they screwed up my request for crispy and she got grilled chicken.
Thankfully we had no where to be or go. We didnt complain about anything our waiter seemed to be very aware that they were a circus 🎪🤡 and kept saying if i were you guys I would just walk out of here. Read moreWell what an experience!!!. I will NEVER recommend this establishment. After driving 10 hours, checking into the hotel right next door ,all we wanted was a hot meal to enjoy together. Ya that did not happen. first we ordered 2 drinks. 1 pop 1 beer. our waitress decided to make 8 fish bowls and 3 other drinks even before she thought about our 2 easy beverages so this took about 17minutes to get to us . then we orderd our food. 2 meals no sides done . Well the first meal finally came out and the waitress said "will there be anything else? " I replied with" um ya the other meal. " she said replied "uh ok " and walked away .. 9 minutes later she walked over and said " they just started the other meal now so it will be out shortly ". I then proceeded to hand her back the first dish she served us ( i jad not touched a single piece of food on this plate yet )and I said " ok take this back and I would like to have it re done as this will be ice cold before the other food arrives " she looked at me like I asked her for Chinese food . I again then said" this food will be ice cold before the other plate arrives and I would like to be able to eat and enjoy our meals together. by the time I finish this my husband's will just be arriving " . the absolute disgusting look on her face. she grabbed the plate and left . That was it we got up said cancel the orders we are not waiting any longer now . She actually had the nerve to charge ne for a pop while we waited over 40 minutes for service and half our order . This establishment needs to make some serious adjustments to management, bar staff , and server attitudes , work ethics ,and what it takes to have repeat business in this economy . Shame on you Boston pizza. who goes out with their partner for a nice meal to be expected to actually eat alone . who wants that . if we wanted to eat separate meals we would just wait for the work week as we have different employment! So a huge shout out to ALL THE GANG at Caesar Mill just down the road for allowing us to enjoy a wonderful hot meal at the same time together. Read moreI never write reviews, but I couldn't help myself this time. If I could give a zero star I would. I have NEVER had such terrible service then I did today at Martensville Boston Pizza. It was my first visit and my last. We went as a family for 1 pm lunch Sunday. First impression was good as I walked in. However, our waitress took our drink orders and brought them to our table. My twins were sitting in high chairs on one end. RULE #1 common sense... Don't serve drinks or food over babies.... And I've never been a waitress. She dumped a large adult glass of ice cold water on top of both my 8 mth twins. They both started screaming. Our waitress stood there for 2 seconds starring and walked to the kitchen and disappeared for 10 min. RULE #2 when u dump things on your customers, especially someone's baby, the first thing u should do is apologize many times to show remorse and help clean up the mess and offer something to make the customer happy. Our waitress did NOTHING, nor did we see any sign of the manager!!!!!!! I got my babies calm, their clothes were soaked from head to toe and we used our own napkins to wipe everything down. That was the first thing wrong with our service which should have been enough. However, the Second thing, we waited till 2:30pm to get our lunch and there were only about 8 tables full. 3rd thing wrong, our food came out at all different times but we finally got our food. My mom and her friend ordered a chicken pecan salad and the chicken wasn't cooked fresh, it came out of the fridge ice cold. 4th thing wrong, our waitress never came back to fill water, drinks or apologies for slow service. She pretty much disappeared the entire time. WHERE was the MANAGER?!???? I seen him hiding in the kitchen 95% of the time. We paid our full bills and all left extremely disappointed. The last thing wrong, my dad got over charged for his bill but only noticed once we were all home!!!! AFTER all that?!?!? I don't know how this Boston is going to make it with service this horrible.
