My husband has been eating here since the place opened and I’ve been here no less than 15 times. The last time we had supper here we brought a friend from out of town. Two out of three calzones were brought to the table burnt black on one side. We thought it was a one off given the phenomenal experiences we had previously.
This evening we came in for supper to an almost dead restaurant with our 9 month old baby. The two available high chairs were equally dirty and had no straps to hold the baby in them. Beverages came out in timely fashion and were delicious, per usual. However, my husband ordered his usual, a hungry Jack, which is a burger sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches. He ate it in layers and after finishing the top grilled cheese cut into the burger patty to find a very raw interior. He brought it to the attention of the server who brought it over to a coworker and then back into the kitchen. She returned to the table to confirm the burger patty was in fact raw and offered to remake or remove it from the bill. Subsequently the arrogant bartender loudly announced to the gentleman sitting at the bar as well as the server that the burger wasn’t raw, that it was the marinade and that it wouldn’t be removed from the bill should this happen again. The waitress returned to the table and reiterated this, however, out of the many times he’d ordered this same meal, he’s never had this issue.
I had a buffalo ranch chicken burger and began feeling stomach sick about 20 minutes after we left. And subsequently vomited several times.
Unfortunately, given the recent quality of food we...
Read moreMy partner and I were very excited to try to Cesar Mill - when we walked in, we were told that they were only serving burgers due to the fact that they had one chef. We were disappointed because coming from Saskatoon we had wanted to try other food however we stayed to try the burgers and some drinks. I had ordered a cranberry Moscow Mule & my partner the Dill pickle Caesar. My drink tasted very bad - like cough syrup so I asked to send it back and just stuck with water. My partner thought his Cesar was good but nothing special & had no flavour of the dill pickle. Once we got our food - it was mediocre at best. Our fries were cold and very dry, as if they were cooked a long time ago. My boyfriend got the pulled pork burger - stating on the menu it was barbecued pulled pork - we were expecting pulled pork, but it came out as a patty, it would’ve been nice for the server to just mention that it was not pulled pork. I definitely think a burger at McDonald’s would’ve been way better. To top everything off when I receive my bill, the drink that I did not like was still on my bill - and my server told me that “they made it, so I still have to pay for it“ Which I find very absurd. I did not like it & told them I was not paying for it. Had high expectations, but overall give this place at 1 out of 10....
Read moreWe arrived shortly after 5 on a Friday. Waitresses were very friendly and attentative. Were seated immediately upon entering. Orders were taken quickly and food was very fast behind that. Our specific waitress was Sydney and she was amazing.
Ordered the following here were our thoughts:
Regular Ceasar - way too spicy couldn't finish it I wish i would have been warned how much hot sauce/tobasco they put in. Wasn't a fan of the rimmer. Cheese was really good.
Bacon Ceasar - Bacon was cold and fatty. Cesar was also spicy but good spicy not overdone. Rimmer was delicious!
Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad - Chicken was cooked perfectly, salad was crunchy and mixed well! Only complaint was dressing tasted a little too fishy for me. Not sure if they make their own dressing and overdid it on the anchovie paste? My boyfriend had no complaints and ate most of it!
Pickle fries- delicious made in restaurant thin and crunchy dip was yummy too.
Cheesy bread sticks can't remember the exact name- these were pretty good nice and hot but we were not a fan of the Marinara sauce. Was very sweet and didn't compliment the bread. Maybe a Chipotle Ranch or something would be better.
All-in-all great experience and we will be back...
