Amir — Restaurant in Mascouche

I thought that my experience today was worth sharing. Upon entering this restaurant I ordered plate #9. The young man starting putting potatoes on my plate and I immediately said, oh no, no potatoes for me. He picked up the rice spoon, where again, i said no thank you; all while smiling at the man serving me. I was with my sister and little baby and in an amazing mood. He asked what to put on my salad and I asked for everything. I then continued to the check out, where an older man asked me what I was having. Confused, I said that the order was still over with the young man, and that it was missing. The older man then asked the younger man, who rolled his eyes at me. I immediately asked why he was rolling his eyes (very nicely to boot) and the older man starting verbally attacking me. Everyone was staring and wondering why this old man was yelling at me. I LOvE this chain restaurant normally. I am a very nice customer, who always tips 20%. I've never been rude in my life. I understand customer service, and never mistreat anyone that serves me ever. I just walked out completely confused and in awe that someone would just start screaming at me for no reason. If I could give zero stars I would. This should never be how someone treats a customer. Saturday night, past 10pm, after coming back from Mtl for a convention, I was really hungry and not a single spot was open in the area to get a quick bite. Then I saw the "open" sign on Amir's door.

When I got there, it was really clean and the clerk greeted me cheerfully. I asked for a plate of shish taouk to go. He then proceeded to fill a large bowl with potatoes, salad, peperoncinis, tomatoes, onions and a good amount chicken. Then topped it all up with a hefty amount of garlic sauce (toum). The food was warm, fresh and reasonably priced. And the portion was really good.

This is the second time i eat here this month and the food is amazing , even though we went late around 11:30 pm everything was still available and fresh , i took a chicken shawarma plate , and i loved the salad selection they had !
