Chef's Indian Kitchen — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

EDIT: I originally had a 5 star review, but I'm not sure what happened to this place, went for a family dinner April 15th, is there new management? No management?

We were ignored by the wait staff and at one point there was no one on the floor. 1 waitress was laughing visiting and fooling around with men at a table. Maybe she was on break? Everyone's entitled to live a little at work, however, this was a little much, as the other waitress was MIA.

The wait staff seamed offended by our presence, just so rude, and they genuinely didn't want to be there.

When we finally ordered the order was wrong, after an hour of waiting...poof she dropped the plates and ran.

We resigned ourselves to whatever was served , one dish being unedible due to the salt content.

When the other waitress was finally done talking to the table of men, we tried to flag her down and she was short and rude telling us to wait...after we had been waiting half an hour with the wrong food -_-

We just left the unedible stuff , packed what we had , paid, and left. At that point it's not worth it, do we walk into the kitchen, go look in the lobby for help?

It was like walking into teen mean girl...

I would never recommend this place to anyone. The service is absolutely terrible. If you are dining in, be prepared to wait endlessly because they give priority to online orders over actual customers sitting inside the restaurant. We waited far too long for our food while seeing takeout bags go out the door nonstop. When the food finally arrived, it was a complete disappointment. I ordered butter chicken and naan, and it was both overpriced and lacking in quality. The butter chicken barely had any quantity for the price, and the taste did not justify the cost at all. For what they charge, the quality is unacceptable. To make matters worse, even the billing process was painfully slow and unorganized. It felt like they didn’t care at all about the people who chose to sit and eat there. On top of that, the restrooms were extremely unhygienic and clearly not maintained — dirty floors, unpleasant smell, and no proper cleaning supplies. It really put me off my meal. Overall, this restaurant completely failed in food quality, basic service, hygiene, and respect for customers. Save your time and money, and eat...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an Indian restaurant and the experience was exceptional. As soon as I entered, the staff welcomed me warmly and I immediately felt at ease.

But the highlight of my experience was the excellent customer service from Prabh and Pratika. They were attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my dining experience was perfect. They were knowledgeable about the menu and gave great advice on ordering. Speaking of the food, I have to say the taste was amazing. The spices were perfectly balanced and each dish was perfectly cooked. The restaurant's menu offers a wide variety of dishes and we appreciate the many vegetarian options.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fine dining experience. Prabh and Pratika's exceptional customer service was the icing on the cake of an already...
