Pita Pit — Restaurant in Medicine Hat

Edit: Went in today to order and the owner recognized me from my review. We talked and she apologized and gave me my pita for free. I cannot express how awesome and kind the owner is. Since writing this review I have been in several times and have found said female employee much more personable. I would also like to give a shout out to the male who works there as he has always been awesome. Such a hard worker who cares about his job. Thank you! As always, the food is fresh and great!

I frequent pita pit a lot and most times I am greeted with great service. However, one female staff member is very standoffish. She won’t even acknowledge you if you are standing and waiting to be helped. Unfortunately, this person is bringing customer service down. Today, I placed an order though Skip and when I called about the length of time I had been waiting for an update (50mins) to find out what was going on, the person who answered the phone was very polite, however, this other person rudely starts shouting and I can hear every word despite being on speaker phone. She was very rude to her co worker and me by default. It was busy, I understand that, however, this woman could have dealt with the situation better. This person should review how to talk to customers in a helpful constructive way. I can’t imagine what her relations are with coworkers. Super disappointed. And zero resolution as to what was going on...

We are driving through to go home to Calgary and often get pita pit in Calgary and have never had a bad experience there - always seems like a safe option. This experience was not that - we walked in and stood at the till for probably 10 minutes with out being acknowledged or greeted. The female employee was working while the male employee was doing nothing and would pass us many times with no acknowledgement. While ordering after waiting for 10 minutes a line up started to form, the female employee took all orders in the line up but no food being prepared while the male employee was still not doing anything. Once the food was starting to be prepared the male employee was openly frustrated with preparation and aggressively threw the pitas at the wall (this was very awkward) we got our food eventually but this was a very unsatisfying and uncomfortable experience. I would avoid this...

I recently visited Pita Pit and had an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel welcome. The restaurant was clean and had a modern, inviting atmosphere.

The menu offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients, allowing me to customize my pita exactly to my liking. I chose the Chicken Souvlaki pita, which was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The vegetables were fresh, and the sauces added a delicious touch.

What impressed me most was the speed of service without compromising quality. Despite being busy, the staff efficiently prepared my order, ensuring everything was fresh and tasty.
