A toast for all the staffs! Packed up but even we don't have reservation we didn't wait long for the 2 of us. Greeted with a smile especially from our server. Let's call her E.🥰She's really nice and always smiling even I know for sure she's hiding her tiredness. She always checking on us, how's the food, etc. Foods and drinks are bit pricey but worth it for me! Loved the atlantic seafood chowder soup and mussels bucket, we also got fisherman's feast! We also ordered raspberry mojito & mocktail.
When I asked for the bill from E, I just paid and later on checked it and saw I got charged 2 raspberry mojito instead 1 only (worth almost $15 each) Saw the other server and showed her our receipt. She gladly assisted us but before she told our server, I think the manager or owner(female, and not sure about her position) saw us and helped us. She called our server and they fixed the issue right away. To be honest I'm not concerned to get a refund but I want them to know about the mistake because it can also happen to someone else. I'd rather give that extra money to our server which I did even I already give 18% tips. Why? Simply because she really deserved it! She felt horrible for charging us double which I know a mistake. Mistakes happen. But as long as we admit our mistakes and learned from them, that's the most important thing.
She was so shocked about our gestures and gave us warm hugs which made our night and we'll sleep well knowing that we'll not feel bad anymore because we're worried that maybe the mistake will be charged to her.
While we're getting out, no matter how busy they are, the staffs are saying bye and have a great night which I'm amazed too!!! Keep it up!!! Wow thank you everyone!!! We'll definitely be back!!!😍👌🏻👏🏻🙌🏼
Dear E as what we've told you cheer up and moved on from what happened. Feel bad for a while because it's a natural feeling for making a mistake but don't linger on it. Always remember we all make mistake and that's how we learned, grow and become stronger, wiser and braver! You're doing a great job! You did well! Toast to you!!!
Dear Manager or Boss (if they will read this) please don't get mad at her or feel bad about what happened. All good. Please appreciate her. Her sweet and smiley face will bring you lots of regular customers for sure! And thank you so much for your help! Cheers for success of your business!

Read moreThis review is strictly for our take out experience today. The female staff Joanne was extremely professional and courteous when I called in my order. 5/5 for the staff we encountered! Now onto what we were extremely excited about, the food- but unfortunately are feeling a little disappointed after trying it. We ordered the large Pictou County combo pizza and it was just ok! 2.5/5 - The flavors on this pizza were lacking and the cheese only went up 3/4 of the way up most of the slices. Our pizza did not look like the ones posted by some dine in customers. Next the fish & chips, were really good! 4/5- The fish was meaty and full of flavor, definitely great value for the price with a significant portion! Would absolutely recommend. Our son had the Philly cheese steak poutine and enjoyed it, the portion was also great value for the money, with plenty of flavourful pieces of steak in it. 4/5-Would also recommend this dish! Lastly, and the biggest disappointment was the mini lobster rolls! We were so excited to try these, as the last time we had lobster rolls where in Maine near Boston and they were Outstanding! The lobster rolls we received looked NOTHING like the pictures that customers posted while dining in. Not even one of the 3 had any lobster chunks on them, 2 had what looked like canned shredded lobster on them, and it was literally the amount that can fit on a teaspoon,the last roll only had a little bit of coleslaw on it, and 3 yarn size threads of lobster meat sitting near the fries. I regret not taking a picture of this but it was the first thing we opened and tried and were so disappointed! Definitely not worth the price of $27.45 for the tiny portion with maybe 2 teaspons of shredded lobster meat in total!. 1/5- I would not recommend this for anyone ordering takeout. Perhaps maybe some more focus and attention on the importance of consistency &quality, and portions in regards to takeout, as it is prepared for dine in patrons! Some people just can't make it into the restaurant to dine in at times, but deserve the same quality, quantity and flavour! If we get a chance to in the near future, we may try to dine in and give this establishment...

Allow some time-traveling and order Halifax donair poutine. Voted as the official food of Halifax it lives up to the hype and most deliciously good! Shared meals should also include the mini lobster rolls, almost prepared too pretty to eat :-) just kidding it’s devoured.
One can easily imagine being on a cruise ship exploring the sea while dining inside this beautiful layout of the restaurant.
Anne’s raspberry cordial goes well with the crispy doughnuts and ice-cream.
Our server, Hannah moved quickly between the tables, made well received suggestions, brought meals fast and mentioned upcoming events.
The only thing that felt odd and took away from the aesthetics, the many television screens above the bar, showing an image of a man in some conference room. [Ocean life, East Coast & seaside beaches on the screens would be more interesting and contributing when the televisions are not in use.]
The restaurant fills up fast and is ever so busy. There are comfortable booths, tables with chairs and a well maintained powder and restroom for guests.
The prices vary but are quite competitive and the quality of the dishes exceeds expectations. The portions are larger than expected and doggie bags allowed.
