Copper Coulee Casino — Local services in Medicine Hat

I left upset with the casino today. I spend a lot of money here and so does my husband who works in the oil patch. I put a 20 dollar bill in one of their machines and it wasn't properly calibrated, so as I clicked a few buttons to try and get to the right game, it clicked a spin for .25cents..... I quickly cashed it out so that it didn't happen again. I recently cleaned out my purse so I had 1 dime and a knickle in which i was trying to make up the .25cents the machine stole from me. Instead of offering. 10cents, the cashier watched me walk all the way to my car (which was recently detailed) so I only could find another knickle. Instead of offering me .05 cents to make an even 20 for me, he gives me a bunch of change that obviously doesn't go into a slot machine. I even offered to bring him .05cents later when I come back. He was rude and I hope some day he has to stand on a corner and beg for .05cents. Unbelievable!!!! I've never felt so humiliated in my life. Shame on you!!! I got paid today and was going to probably spend at least 3/4 of my paycheck here.... I won't be back and neither will my husband. The staff here (except for Toni) are horrible and rude. Save your money.... every other place in town pays out more on...

My husband and I decided to go to Copper Coulee for a night out. We waited 15 minutes for service. The waitress did come over after and said she saw us but not sure why she didn't come and take our order. When we were ready to order food, the other waitress preferred to serve the table around us. The waitress did look at us and walked by. I will say that once a third waitress saw us, we had the best service ever. Her name was MADDY. If you go to the bar side make sure Maddy is your server. She is a great server. It is hard to pick the stars when Maddy did such a great job. The stars don't reflect Maddy they reflect the earlier service we...

The casino itself is fine but the staff absolutely hate customers, I am not joking in the slightest. They will be nothing but rude and cold to you no matter who you are or what you are doing (restaurant, bar, table games, slot games, cashing out). It is unimaginable how they have so many staff members that miserable. If you do find someone nice they won't be there for long. I don't think it is their fault, the type of people that pass through the city and stay at the lodge can be incredibly challenging people to deal with so perhaps they have all just become very jaded over the years against people who think a casino...
