Update; I am updating this review on September 25 as I have had contact with the company. The company asked me to reach out to them the day that I made this review where they correctly informed me that their gift cards do indeed have a cash value, and the employee who said otherwise was mistaken. I was emailing back-and-forth with the manager, Abby, who then had me come to swirls today where she reimbursed all four of my gift cards to correct the mistake that occurred. I will definitely go back to swirls and absolutely recommend their milkshakes among many other desserts that they have.

I really like swirls products but was disappointed today to find out that if I buy gift cards and don’t use the whole balance in one sitting, I have to forfeit the remainder as they have no cash value…not impressed with that policy. I didn’t expect to receive cash back but I did expect to have the remainder be available to use or be able to use it for the people behind me…don’t think I’ll be getting gift cards here again. I do not blame the worker, I blame the company who created...

Huge portions ... Most people would say this is a good thing, but the reality is that they're too big! Anything larger than a 'small' becomes prohibitively difficult to consume before it melts all over the place! But look, the flavours are great, the prices are about what you'd expect, and they're pretty quick. The only other negative has to do with the seating situation: other patrons can be messy and sometimes belligerent, and it would be unfair to coerce the young people who prepare the desserts into some kind of etiquette police. Oh, and since people are messy (with oversized cones), it attracts wasps and other bugs. So if they could magically control the unruly people, reduce the portion sizes, and eradicate the wasps, they could earn that 5th...

Stopped here on a business trip after seeing advertisements for it and then happening to drive past. I'm so glad I did! What a cool little place, and what great staff! I asked what was good, and the awesome and enthusiastic guy and girl behind the counter asked what I liked and came up with a killer concoction of ice cream, cookie dough, cookie chunks and whipped cream. The treat was really delicious, creamy and chocolatey. It was a great recommendation from the pair. The storefront was charming and reminiscent of an old time ice cream shop. Even with all these positives though, I have to say the stand out here was the service, your staff are amazing and made my day!...
