Although the aesthetics of this place doesn't exactly draw you in, they do pretty well here. The front doesn't specify that they're a Filipino bakery, but surprisingly many go here. Their food items are fresh, they have a decent amount of tasty baked goods, and you'll leave pretty satisfied. Service was friendly and helpful. They carried some interesting Filipino items I've actually never seen before. Seats were far and few, but definitely not overcrowded. The type of customers they generate are mainly Asian, but I noticed other ethnicities coming in to try their buko pandan and mango cupcakes, etc. That seems pretty unknown in Filipino shops, since we usually just see our own kind. It seemed as if every few minutes another customer would come in, which was great to know that people like coming here to purchase their pan de sal and egg tarts. I would recommend their empanadas - they're really good (I've only tried the chicken but I'm sure the pork was just as good) and their mini hot dog buns. It’s difficult to find cakes that are not too sweet especially you have a family of people with diabetes and you want them to be able to enjoy a decent birthday cake on their birthday. Did some research and found this little gem. Thank for all the reviews that other customers had already posted for them, think we would give it a try. Service was great as we ordered a Mango cake on Monday (they are closed on Sunday) for the next day. Per their website, they need 3 days ahead of time. Glad that they had the ingredients available and was able to make this order happened. Pick up was without any problem! Family usually avoid eating cake (due to sweetness), not only indulge themselves with this cake, but also close to finishing off the whole cake! And leftovers were finished the next morning. CAKE I appreciated the attention to detail when it came to clarifying anything for the cake at the time I had put in the order. When I had asked for any suggestions about transporting a 2 tier, Erin had taken the time to thoroughly answer the email.

At pick up, it was carefully covered in a box.

The cake itself was beautiful! You can tell it was done with so much care and accuracy. It exceeded any expectations I had. The cake was very moist and the flavours we had chosen were obvious and delicious and not too sweet! Just right. The buttercream between the layers was just enough to complement the cake.
