I ordered a tuna salad sandwich. This was the worst tuna salad sandwich I've ever had! It was literally just tuna on bread, despite the menu describing it with lettuce, tomato, and a choice of bread. The male server didn’t even ask about our preferences and just served us this. Shocked, I showed him the menu with a different description and picture. Instead of apologizing, he was rude and dismissive, telling me I was supposed to ask for the lettuce and tomato, as that's what "other customers usually do."
Imagine going to a steakhouse, ordering a steak, and just receiving the meat—no sides that are listed on the menu—then being told it was your fault for not asking! His attitude was completely illogical. When I pointed out the problem, he just brought a single piece of lettuce and a tomato slice separately on a plate, with no apology. It was the worst experience.
Overall: Food quality: Awful. This "tuna salad sandwich" was just plain tuna different from the menu description.
Customer service: Even worse. A young male server was completely lacking in respect or...
Read moreIce House Restaurant delivers far more than you'd expect at first glance. From the moment I walked in, I was met with friendly service and an inviting atmosphere, but it’s the food that truly stands out.I’ve tried a wide range of items on the menu, from their sandwiches, wraps, poutines, and burgers to their impressive lineup of Indian dishes. Everything I’ve tasted has been satisfying, fresh, and well-prepared, but the Indian cuisine took things to another level entirely. What I appreciate most is the balance Ice House strikes between comfort and quality. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty classic or something with more of a cultural twist, you’ll find something here that hits the spot.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys great food made with heart and skill. I’ll...
Read moreI echo all of the negative reviews above plus plus plus. When we arrived the waiter who I assume was the owner seemed genuinely agitated to have customers show up. I assumed home fries came with my breakfast meal as they do in every other restaurant however, there was an extra charge. When I asked for coffee and water, I was brought a bottle of water and charged for that. My omelette, had a semi burnt skin which I left on my plate. Any restaurant should be embarrassed to serve a meal like this. My daughters advertised mozzarella cheese omelette, turned out to be craft processed cheese slices. My $20 bill turned out to be near $50. Hopefully in a couple of weeks when the present owner runs it into the ground, someone will snap it up and turn it into a nice...
