Thai House Campbellville — Restaurant in Milton

I've dined at Thai House Campbellville on a couple of occasions. Most recently, yesterday evening. The restaurant is not easy to see from the main street but fairly easy to find if you follow gps. Inside it's very comfortable, warm and inviting. The servers are knowledgeable and attentive.. The thai food is amazing and authentic, served fresh and quickly. I have dined on the chicken pad thai and my friend had the green curry on each of our visits. Both are delicious and served with very generous portions. We always have enough leftover for a takeout container and a meal the next day.

Not quite a 5 star for two reasons. Although the price is reasonable, and about what you would find at most of the higher end thai restaurants, none of the mains include rice. You have to pay extra for that. This is also the case at some other places I will admit, but usually just for the curry dishes. The other item that I wanted to point out (and perhaps the owners are reading) is the water they serve with the meal is not good. It tastes like heavy, unfiltered tap water. Normally I'm ok with any water at most restaurants, but this one stood out to me and my friend and I felt the need to mention it.

Overall, this is an excellent, authentic thai restaurant, with excellent food, nice comfortable atmosphere and very good service. I would highly recommend if you in the Campbelville/Milton/North Burlington area and craving authentic thai cuisine with generous portions. I will return if I'm back in the area and need a...

We just ordered take-out from here for the first time and we weren't too happy with the food. Here's what we ordered and why we didn't think it was great...

Wings- mediocre Pad Thai- barely any flavor and hardly any Chicken or Shrimp in it and way too much tofu. Vegetable Fried Rice- tasted too fishy (being a vegetable dish, even if it's not vegetarian, it shouldn't have that strong of a fish taste and again too much tofu). Chicken green curry- Was ok Spicy Shrimp- was more of a salad and about 4-5 shrimps and again tasted too fishy (maybe not fresh enough or they are adding too much fish sauce? IDK) Spicy Chicken- Was okay the spice was perfect, though. Mixed Vegetables- Now, again, I know it doesn't say vegetarian, and I also know Asian food uses oyster and fish sauce a lot, but vegetables of any sort, shouldn't have a strong fish taste, either.

I don't know why they use so much fish sauce in everything (if that's what's making everything taste fishy). Honestly and truly, we are not picky eaters and we love Thai food and most Asian foods. Anyway, I hope this helps you with your orders and maybe help this place become less fishy lol. Oh and one last thing, it's a bit more expensive and they give you less food than most places. They don't even fill the Tupperwares up all the way. But they did give a lot of the rice and noodles just not enough of the extras inside and tried to fill it with...

Today we celebrated my Mother's retirement at Thai House Campbellville. EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. We were a party of 26 people (4 children). A space was sectioned off for us by the bar that comfortably accommodated all of us, as well as a gift and cake table. I placed our food order prior to the day of the event to give the chef and staff time to prepare and they did not disappoint.

All of us thoroughly enjoyed every dish that was served (family-style plating). The little details were amazing touches that made the meal that much more special. Little details like designs carved into the potatoes in the chicken curry which collected the yummy sauce and basically looked like art on our plates.

Michelle and her team were so attentive and loving. Making sure my Mother's wine glass was always full. They made us feel like family.

This location was a perfect halfway point for our party as we had guests coming from as far east as North York or Toronto and as far west as London. This little gem of a restaurant is tucked away in Campbellville and can be easily missed if you are not looking and it is just down the street from the Elements Casino Mohawk! That is where headed afterwards with satisfied full bellies.
