Montana’s BBQ & Bar — Restaurant in Milton

If I could rate this Montanas location no stars I would. Me and my family ate at thos Montanas on Sunday Dec 9th. It was myself another adult and 3 children. My sister went to order the chicken wings and was told that they didnt have any because they were still frozen. How are they still frozen at dinner time? Also why disclose they are frozen? So both of us adults ordered the steak deal for 18.99 ...steaks, sides, and dessert. We both orderes medium rare. I also ordered chicken lettuce wraps. 2 of the childrens meals were fine but the chicken nugget type meal was so over cooked that a 5 year old couldnt chew it. Both of our steaks were served blue our whole plates were covered in blood and the meat was cold. My chicken wraps looked like slop on a bed of lettuce...there were no wraps just shredded chicken slop spread on a layer of lettuce. Even though all of it was pretty bad my guest ate her steak so not to complain and i tried but it was disgusting. I finally complained to the waitress but only about the steak. She said oh ill put it back on the grill, it was already cut up amd had peppercorn sauce on it(this is how its served) I said Id rather the manager. He came and stood silent at our table just looking at us. I let him know that the steak wasnt cooked and he insisted that it was, then offered to cook it more. I said Id rather not have any steak at all. He agressivly took my plate and just glared at me he said nothing at all and then walked away. When the waitress returned she had a totally different attitude like stressed out and quite short with us. it was time to get dessert and I expected to get mine as it came with my meal and she never even asked me just the kids and the other person....so I asked about my dessert she said nope you dont get ot we removed your steak dinner from your bill so no dessert. Like wow such horrible customer service. The manager kept giving us looks and made us so uncomfortable that we rushed the kids desserts to get out of there. I cannot stress enough how rude that manager is and how unwelcome he made us feel. Never again...Im done...

Not a pleasant experience, food was disappointing. First red flag was the plate i was brought for my tea had 2 large chips in it. (Boogies my mind that the dishwasher, cook, and waitress and whoever else touched it, didn't notice or care) I ordered the chicken burrito bowl. When I tried to modify the order to exclude the corn I was told it can't be done because it comes premixed in a package, 2nd red flag. I was not happy that they don't make the order from scratch. I mean why not go to McDonald's if thats the case? And were else do they cut corners I wonder? When I got the order I thought they made a mistake because there were no beans in it as advertised, so we called the waitress to inquire. To my amusement I did find a bean. Yes one bean in bed of rice that could serve 4 people. ONE BEAN. ONE. Well thats a lie, at the end of the meal I was to locate another 3 beans for a whooping total of FOUR beans. LOL. The manager came over. I asked for Nachos to supplement my meal and he brought me salsa and corn as well. (Which i wanted to exclude from the beginning but I just went with it, I didn't care at this point, it was a gesture at least) When I asked if they microwaved the rice they said it was baked, which probably means it was also from a package. My friends order was no better, the Ribs were cold and hard, but the fries were "OK". They discounted the tea and water that we ordered for our troubles. Didnt seem enough to me. This place has poor standards if they think any of this is acceptable.

My boyfriend and I went to this location last night for a Halloween date night and we left very very disappointed. Our server was very rude and pushy. Trying to sell us alcoholic drinks when neither of us drink. After several times of saying no thank you and we don't drink alcohol she finally let it go. Our food was just fine but the service was absolutely terrible. I have been to this location several times and I always order a side order of the chips that come with the spinach dip. I am very rarely charged for them, and when I am it's like .99 cents. Upon ordering them I was told I would be charged for a side order of fries, howeverThey charged me for 8 orders of garlic toast in Lou of which totalled 7.96. I was not happy and asked to have them removed from my bill. And explains how I had ordered them before. I was told well prices for things do go up. I do understand that but I was not notified that it would cost me 8 dollars, and if I was I wouldn't have ordered them. Furthermore when speaking with the manager I felt very belittled and put down by the way she was speaking to me. I feel like I wasn't taken seriously because I was dressed up for Halloween. Furthermore, since we woke up this morning, both of us are sick. We have been throwing up violently and believe we are suffering from minor food poisoning. It is the only thing that would explain why both of us are as randomly sick as we are. We will not be returning to this location. Very sad. In the past my rating would have been a 5.
