Chorizo Fresh Mex — Restaurant in Milton

Wow! First time here and not my last, that’s for sure! Chorizo is very clean, they have all the proper PPE, equipment for social distancing and were very polite and informing while I was ordering.

The food - Excellent - I had the Fajrito bowl. Driving back to my work I could smell all the different fresh ingredients coming from my take out container and it was making my stomach growl. Once I got back opened it up and tried my first couple bites all I can say is yuuuummy! So many different tastes and textures. Even the hot vs cold food was so awesome to eat together. All the vegetables including the sautéed peppers and onions were very fresh and crunchy, the rice was cooked perfectly and the chicken was moist and a bit charred on the outside which is just how I like it. I would recommend the black beans and both the sour cream and burrito sauce.

Tip if you are a big eater go with double meat. If not the size of the regular bowl is ample.

Makes me wonder why anyone would ever go to places like McDonalds, KFC etc. So much healthier and way better bang for your buck!

My husband and I went here for the first time last week. And we were blown away. As soon as we walked in, we had no idea what to get. The owners of this store were there, and helped us through decisions with a big smile, didn't rush us at all! Didn't force any upgrades on us, but we're so glad we got the fries and churros.

Okay. So... service: perfection! Kind, respectful, friendly smiles... not just with us but with every single customer we noticed walking through that door.

Atmosphere: super clean, comfortable tables that don't wobble and comfy chairs. Check!

Food: Dee-Lish-Cious!!!! How can they make simple fries taste so good? My husband got a chicken burrito which was VERY satisfying and I got a steak quesadilla which was perfection! Normally I can't eat a full one, but I couldn't stop eating this. They make everything fresh in-house, every 4 hours or so. And you can taste that freshness. The mango salsa and corn... yum!

Just FYI, we went to a really expensive tex-mex restaurant a few days before this. Cost at least 4 times more than Chorizo, but Chorizo's food was hands-down better quality and flavour.
