This was my very first time at Mulligans. We were looking for something good to eat for lunch, and our group decided to stop by here. Right as you walk in, you're greeted by Mulligan! Mulligan is the sweetest, most gentle pup Iāve met in a long time, and he really helps set the welcoming atmosphere of this authentic establishment.
Once inside, we were quickly seated and served drinks. After chatting with Paula about the menu, she assured us that everything is a hit. We took her word for it and placed our orders: the pulled pork sandwich, beef burger, fish and chips, and wings.
We were informed that all the food is freshly made in-house, from the beef burgers to the French fries.
Our food arrived shortly after ordering, which is always a plus in my book!
The beef burger came with the "make it a Mulligan" option, which, if Iām not mistaken, includes mushrooms, hot peppers, and onions. I might have missed something else. From the first bite of the burger, you could taste how fresh the ingredients were. The flavors were outstanding, and everything complemented each other perfectly. The French fries reminded me of grandma's homemade fries, cut from fresh potatoes. This meal made me feel like I was back at grandma's place enjoying a home-cooked meal.
The portions were very satisfying as well. I left feeling full yet good because the food was so fresh!
The pulled pork sandwich was incredibly tender, complemented perfectly by the sauce on the meat. For the price, the pulled pork sandwich delivers excellent flavors! As for the fish and chips, the fish was super crispy and light, with excellent flavor and color. Once again, the fries were wonderfully crispy.
Lastly, the wings were so good and fresh that they didn't even need sauce. They tasted amazing on their own. We also had the pleasure of chatting with some of the staff, and everyone here was super friendly.
Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 Mulligan: 100/100 (such a cutie)
Would I recommend?
Absolutely! Check this place out if you want to feel right at home and enjoy some...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe employees at this restaurant seem to be racist and were EXTREMELY unprofessional. For context, we were a South Asian family of 12 dining in. Zero customer service skills at this restaurant. We weren't greeted or welcomed into the restaurant in a kind and inviting manner whatsoever. Our family of 12 were greeted with a mean stare followed by "how many of you are here? if you're a table of 12 you won't be seated together." There was no sort of "hi, hello, how are you" in the interaction. We received slow service, mean glares from all the servers, and an attitude of unwillingness to serve us. When our server was bringing glasses to the table, she gave us an assortment of random dirty cups that were stained and didn't bother placing each one in front of us but rather handed us a stack of cups and a jug of water to pour ourselves. Once our server noticed we were unhappy with her, she immediately began to try to give us better customer service by changing how she spoke to us. We also noticed that the white diners were treated kindly and spoken to in a polite manner. The chef also gave us a dirty look on our way out and said "wow" in a condescending tone. This was disgusting, horrible service and if you are a PoC, rethink visiting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreRe-writing my previously glowing review. Last time here had a great lunch and couple beers with my wife. Enjoyed the nachos and the dog, Mulligan. Unfortunately today I met the female owner face to face. What an angry, miserable, critical lady. I can honestly say I will not return after being humiliated by her. I approached the bar which held two or three ice water jugs. I asked to refill my reusable water bottle. She told me I could. Upon filling the bottle she let me know that apparently I had ācontaminatedā the jug by touching the underside of the jug lip to the top of my water bottle. I replied that I hadnāt considered the possibility of contamination but she let me know she wasnāt to pleased and took the water jug away. I thought that was the end of it but as I was leaving I heard her start sh_t talking my act of contamination to another group of patrons. I turned and let her know that I now regretted my previous, glowing review and let her know I would not be back. Currently enjoying a wonderful lunch at the Dominion...
