I work in customer service, and normally do not leave negative reviews unless i have really had a poor experience. This was my first visit, and probably my last! My dad wanted to go here for his birthday lunch. We waited to be seated, staff walking past without acknowledging us. I finally had to ask someone. We then had to wait for a server, we finally ordered our food and drinks. We watched several people leave because they had been waiting over an hour for food, one family had only ordered French fries and finally just had enough! At the 45 minute mark I asked how much longer our food would be. (2 orders of poutine and a chicken sandwich)The manager walked past our table with the server and we overheard her say “it’s summertime, they just have to wait” We were told new tables are waiting 1hr, we should only be another 20min. We waited another 30.The food was not hot, and really just average, definitely not worth the wait! I have no problem waiting, I understand it’s summer, it’s lunch, it’s busy, but I do think it would be nice for them to let people know when they are either waiting in line to get in or being seated that food will take 1+hours. At least then people can decide if they want to wait, or have time to wait. Not really sure how this business model works? You would think it would be better for business to have tables turning over quickly, not having people sitting waiting, getting annoyed, or worse leaving without getting any food! I feel bad for the servers, this is clearly not their issue, but they were taking the all the negative feedback from annoyed people. A manager is there to help keep things running smoothly and connecting with the customers, especially when things are not running efficiently, A manager should address their customers directly with at least some acknowledgement of the situation, not just a snide comment while walking past customer tables. When Boshkung Brewing says Good Beer, Good People, it’s not just a slogan—it’s a living truth. My stop at their Minden location was completely unexpected, but it turned into one of the best lunch breaks I’ve had in a long while.

From the moment I walked in, the hospitality was next-level. My server went above and beyond—warm, welcoming, and genuine. She suggested the perfect beer-and-burger combo that turned my stressful day right around. Sometimes it’s the little things—a smile, the right amount of enthusiasm—that change everything.

I went with the Boshkung Blues 6oz burger—juicy beef with lettuce, onion, bacon jam, stout BBQ sauce, and blue cheese. Every bite was bold and layered, especially paired with Little Canoe Light Lager. That lager was crisp, refreshing, and just complex enough to keep me going back for another sip. I couldn’t resist grabbing a few cans to take home, along with one of their golden ales that carried soft malt, floral hop aromas, and a smooth fruitiness. Both brews perfectly captured what craft beer should be: balanced, distinctive, and deeply satisfying.

This the BEST brewery in the country!! The owners Mat and Deb are 2 of the most fantastic you could ever have the privilege of knowing ! All of the staff are very warm and welcoming, when you walk in the building you are greeted with an unbelievably friendly atmosphere and the beer is unmatched!! The food is out of this world good and everything is priced extremely well their merchandise for purchase such as shirts and sweater hats among other things is all extremely durable and comfortable! Also the best pickled eggs ever !! The patio is amazing in the summer time as it sits along side beautiful gull River. And they also have 2 cornhole sets to play on right on the patio the massive cover patio area is beautiful and in the winter it is closed in and heated . The perfect place for gatherings or private events ! They have flights for all their amazing beer as well perfect for trying all the delicious varieties there is something for everyone at this unbelievable brewery! The tap room is always set up beautifully and they treat all that come in with with the top end service you can't find anywhere else . And the whole brewery is accessible to all so ramps to every door including the patio and covered patio area.
