I eat at Subway a lot as I travel for work. The experience is quite standard no matter what province or country I am in. And that is good! The standardized menu and experience is exactly why I am loyal to Subway when I am hungry while travelling.
... but the Minden Subway did something that was noteworthy. My bag contained one napkin per person. This may seem like a small thing, but the standard practice at most locations is to stuff a wad of napkins into the bag. I don’t really know who would need ten napkins to eat one sub. It can be quite wasteful.
But today, I had the exact number of napkins that one person needs to eat one sub: ONE. And for this, I thank you.
PS - I noticed a number of inappropriate and sexist comments. I have a business, too. I hope you might try our method: We respond to the unkind and toxic comments to remind them that sexist and unkind comments are not welcome. We are professional in our response, but very firm that our staff are not to be treated...

While they were building my sub they dropped cucumbers onto this paper, and picked them up and put them on my sandwich I immediately asked them to not put those cucumbers on my sub so he set them aside onto the green paper with writing. I then watched him put those cucumbers on someone else’s sandwich after me. Absolutely disgusting! Read moreme and my friends have experienced the worst experience ever in this subway. this is the location 12621 ON-35, Minden, ON K0M 2K0. Date 14th october 2024. the indian guy with mustache was so rude with us. he prepared our food in so hurry as he need to catch a train. this is not the end while serving our food he was throwing the food on the counter with no smile. seemed like he wasn’t happy having us his customers. we didn’t say anything as we tried to be polite and wanted to handle the situation gently so we just took our food and went out. this is the first time we have experienced this behaviour in the subway. We were five people and we already decided we will never ever go to any subway ever again in our life.
