I can't believe I've never left a review on the Gaslight! One of my top fav places in Sydney. Best pies! If you see a lobster pot pie on the menu, or the turkey dinner pie, GRAB IT. Mac N Cheese pie! First time. Lunchtime, drove by and did a U-turn 'cuz the little cafe looked so inviting. Sooooo glad we did! The meat pies are truly amazing -- so much so that we drove back to pick up 2 more for supper! Great coffee too. And then, to indulge, we bought a new apple-caramel cake dessert. Unfortunately I have to say I'm horrified at the almond latte I just purchased from here. It literally tastes like burnt, coffee flavored water. We stopped on our way out of town, so unfortunately taking it back wasn't an option. I don't know if this is what the coffee usually tastes like, but I don't think I'll be testing the theory anymore.
