I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chatpatta Chowk, and I must say it was a delightful experience. From the delectable food to the pleasant atmosphere, this restaurant left a lasting impression on me. Allow me to share my thoughts on the overall experience, with a special mention of our server, Simran. First and foremost, the food at Chatpatta Chowk was simply outstanding. We ordered the Malai Kofta, a popular Indian dish known for its creamy texture and rich flavors. The koftas were perfectly cooked, with a melt-in-your-mouth consistency, and the sauce was divine. Each bite was a burst of delightful flavors that left us craving for more. The Daal was equally impressive, with a perfect balance of spices and a comforting, homely taste that reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. The Lachha Parantha, a flaky and layered bread, was the perfect accompaniment to our meal, providing a satisfying crunch and complementing the dishes perfectly. The drinks we ordered were equally enjoyable. The restaurant offered a wide range of refreshing beverages, and we were not disappointed. The drinks were well-made, with just the right amount of sweetness and a delightful combination of flavors that tantalized our taste buds. Now, let me take a moment to express my appreciation for our server, Simran. Simran's warm and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of charm to our dining experience. From the moment we were seated, Simran greeted us with a smile and guided us through the menu, offering helpful suggestions and answering our questions with patience and knowledge. She made sure our glasses were always filled, and our needs were promptly attended to throughout the meal. Simran's professionalism and attentiveness enhanced our overall enjoyment of the evening, making us feel valued as customers. In terms of the restaurant's ambiance, Chatpatta Chowk exudes a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is tastefully done, with colorful accents and traditional elements that create an authentic Indian feel. The seating arrangement was comfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable. In conclusion, Chatpatta Chowk is a restaurant that excels in providing a memorable dining experience. The food is exceptional, with the Malai Kofta and Daal being highlights of the menu. The drinks are refreshing, and the Lachha Parantha is a must-try. Simran, our server, was a delightful addition to our evening, showcasing excellent customer service skills and making us feel valued throughout our visit. I highly recommend visiting Chatpatta Chowk for a delightful culinary adventure that will leave you satisfied and eager to return for more.

The staff and the chef are extremely cordial, walking around all tables interacting with customers recommending dishes etc. The food ain't bad either. We wanted to eat Chaat specifically and we're not disappointed. The bhalla chat is a must try. I would Avoid the shakarkandi, as I prefer a hot sweet potato rather than a deep frozen one. But points to the chef for the excellent presentation. We also had the chicken wings, succulent chicken and what a tangy indian sauce to go with it, again recommended. The menu isn't very large like at most Indian restaurants, but seems to be well curated and should cater to all taste buds. They also have a beautiful looking bar and make some lovely indian flavored cocktails, please try the aam panna and the pani puri vodka, you won't regret it. The ambiance is lovely and the space is well done, the food is worth the money having said that isn't very expensive. Portion sizes are good as well, we could both share and wat enough from what we ordered. For my buck it was worth it, We spent about $80 with taxes for the food and drinks. Will recommend and revisit

Went there with family on Mother’s Day and they had a few 1/2 priced apps and cocktails on promotion. Our momo apps arrived at the same time as the main course which felt rushed considering the restaurant was empty. Naan, kadhai panner and dum biryani was well made and spicy. For a $20 subji, the portion size was small. Almost not enough for 3 people. Also ordered the mango bunta which was delicious. The server was sweet but needs to improve her communication. We specifically wanted to order the mango bunta cocktail which was on promotion but she mixed it up with mocktail off the regular menu. Not a big deal, but as a server you need to clarify especially if the restaurant has a promotion going on. Overall, they have a nice decor with slightly small portions; but its fresh good Punjabi food which didn’t leave you feeling incredibly heavy or sleepy after eating.

5 stars for food, but... I had bhel puri, dhahi bhalla and a mutton tak-a-tak from the starters section. Taste was great, items were fresh, I was able to glimpse the preparation and saw the staff use gloves to mix the bhel. The mutton though can use some help - needs not just the mint chutney, but being slightly on the dry side, needs a yogurt raita along... Now comes the critic in me - if there were half stars, I would go with 3.5 due to 2 things; first the mixer running right in the restaurant area being too noisy, frankly, these should be done in the main kitchen area; secondly, the pista rabdi I ordered while tasting excellent, had a shard of the pista's outer shell. I will consider this as a genuine mistake and not the restaurant staff being careless. Regardless of the 2 mentioned issues, I am already planning on going back, with my family. the street food served here for me ranks joint top with Chaska restaurant in Mississauga. Excellent customer service as well (girl with glasses).

2nd update... Went last week, pretty late in the evening, about 5 mins before the restaurant was to close. First they offered me take out and I was disappointed, but they switched their minds and offered me to dine in. Ordered the simple, yet always satisfying daal makhani (if done right) and tavva roti's. All I can say is that it was one of the best daal makhani I ever tasted. A smiling owner, who also happens to be the chef, asked me when I was paying the bill as to how the food was. Now this was the part I liked the most. An owner, after putting whatever # of hours, at the restaurant's closing, talks about the food to you with a smile. My answer - I'm returning back at the next available opportunity...

Visit # 2 Just stopped right at 10pm when this restaurant closes. Was down with a terrible headache and asked for a strong tea / chai. I've had restaurants say they're closed, versus serve a single tea as dine in at these type of timeframes. However - I was served and while my headache didn't leave me, the taste of the tea stayed on till I reached home.

Thank you for the customer focused service. Moments like this will make you go back to the restaurant and I'll plan on revisiting...

worst service, I ordered food and picked up , the whole order was wrong as I opened it in my office. ordered lunch during my break but was not able to eat it as I ordered veg biryani and got Chicken instead . I was located pretty much near to there restaurant at airport and Derry and they had audacity to say no to deliver as I was not able to come again to pickup . zero empathy to there customers never going there. REVIEW#2 Google was not letting me put second review this is almost after a week from my order , I called that day from my office phone so they saw the caller ID where I am calling from. Now anyone from my office goes there they are trying ruin my reputation claiming I was rude to front desk staff which I was not , after ordered got messed up I called again and asked them to deliver I am near by she said that was chefs mistake and they will not deliver , I hung up , since I called from company phone thankfully all our calls are recorded so front desk claim can be denied that I was abusive , but what pushed me to put this review again is they are spreading fake rumors about me which they should not be without my consent .100% its the lady who took call messed up and took wrong order and she made up all this to save herself and put the whole blame on me. If I hear anything like this again from any of my colleagues and known ones I will make sure to take any legal course of action for this defamation being done .No one was abused nor on phone call neither in person it was unsatisfactory customer service why this review was posted , but restaurant took this criticism to a next level by saying such things to the incoming customers which is so...
