If you're planning a wedding or large event and want authentic, flavorful Indian vegetarian food with exceptional service, look no further than Dosa Eatery. They catered our Haldi function with live dosa and chaat stations plus pav bhaji, and it was easily one of the most talked-about meals of our entire wedding weekend.
The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I can write a whole essay about how great the food was — but what truly sets Dosa Eatery apart is the experience they deliver. From our first conversation, Anant and Deep made the process so easy. They suggested thoughtful options tailored to our event and helped us create a setup that felt festive and elevated.
On the day of the event, their team arrived on time, set up efficiently, and treated every guest with such warmth that people actually asked if they were part of our family. That level of care and hospitality is rare.
And here’s what blew us away: when our event ran long (as weddings do), they quietly packed up everything, kept the leftovers safe, and left a kind message. They didn’t chase us for final payment — they just said, “Enjoy your wedding, we’ll sort it later.”
That’s not just good service — that’s trust, integrity, and humanity. In an industry that’s often rushed and transactional, Dosa Eatery feels like a breath of fresh air.
If you're looking for a top-notch vegetarian caterer in the GTA, especially one that specializes in live South Indian and Chaat food stations, this is the team to book. Delicious food. Impeccable service. Amazing people. Highly recommended. Will do it again if I get a chance for other events.
Thank you Dosa...

Dishes Ordered: Mix Veg Uthapam: This dish was a delightful blend of flavors, with a crispy base topped with a variety of fresh vegetables. The seasoning was perfect, and each bite was a treat. Rava Masala Dosa: The Rava Masala Dosa stood out with its light and crispy texture, complemented by a flavorful potato filling. The dosa was well-prepared and served hot, maintaining its crunchiness. Plain Dosa: Simple yet delicious, the plain dosa was served with an assortment of chutneys and sambar. It was well-cooked and satisfying. Idli: The idlis were soft, fluffy, and paired wonderfully with the accompanying sambar and chutneys. They provided a comforting start to the meal.
The service at Dosa Eatery was top-notch. Akhil and Aayushi, the staff members who attended to us, were particularly impressive. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was pleasant. Their service added a personal touch to our visit, making it memorable.

Read moreFirst time ordering here. The store is very nice and clean. I was the only person there around 2:55p. The guy who was supposed to be taking my order was on the phone so he didn’t notice me for a minute or two, but I figured it must be important so I waited patiently.
Once he did see me he took my order, and then proceeded to go back on the phone and slowly make the “Hazelnut” crazy shake… very very slowly.
He was laughing on the phone so I was confused, but figured he was wrapping up and would focus on making my desert.
He then got off the phone, dialed another number and called another person while holding his iPhone between his ear and his shoulder, wearing only one glove while making my “crazy shake”
He spoke to someone on the other line while the desert took 10 minutes to make, he then got off the phone took a few pictures of my drink for some reason, then handed it to me.
When I asked him why it took so long he said sorry it was an important call - I said all 3?
He didn't know what to say.
Anyways, the shake itself is 3/10 for price. Almost $16 with tax and watered down, not enough ice cream or flavour, despite a Kit Kat piece and 2 Ferraro Rocher classic chocolates on top.
I didn’t take a photo since he took like 4, I have a video to show how watery it was but cannot...
