We are so grateful for the team at Il Porcellino. After coming to here for years before we got married, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding reception venue. Our guests were so impressed by how delicious the food was and how great the portions were! Il Porcellino went above and beyond to work with us before our wedding to plan all of the details and were accommodating to us bringing in other vendors, including our DJ and a peanut free wedding cake. We had the pleasure of working closely with Fiorina, who was kind, organized, and professional throughout the whole process. If you’re looking for a place with great food, service and genuinely amazing people to host your private event at, this is your spot! From start to finish, Fiorina and her family were so kind and took such good care of me and my family for my daughter’s first communion yesterday!! Fiorina was so good working through our food options considering our dietary restrictions. I was skeptical at first of the lemon chicken option as I had never been there to try it before but honestly my family and I loved it!! The sauce was delicious, more of a gravy and the chicken was perfectly cooked! The pasta was amazing! The cappuccino with cocoa.. yummm.. not to mention, their package included a cake option for dessert and everyone was so impressed with the taste and quality!! They get my order wrong every time. The pasta dishes are dry and flavorless. They NEVER have the rapini they list on their menu either. TERRIBLE… So, I guess there’s a forever shortage because a year ago they stated the exact same issue. Maybe the description should be edited? Extra DRY pasta is NEVER a substitution for a fresh vegetable. And just because it’s written on the order doesn’t make it acceptable. That’s not what I paid for. And I can assure you that the dish was warm when it arrived and opened immediately and it was DRY AND FLAVORLESS AGAIN. Maybe the sauce should’ve been put on the side?!?! That would be common sense… It’s interesting how instead of improving their food items and accepting responsibility for consistent and poorly prepared meal items and making some adjustments, excuses are being made to blame a food shortage, and a customer who paid for their meal, for not consuming the food in a timely manner....
