A Hidden Gem: A First-Taste Experience at Miss Doner Kebab
Stepping into Miss Doner Kebab for the first time was nothing short of magical. Although the restaurant was technically closed, the owner’s warm hospitality and passion for her craft shone through as she graciously served us whatever she could whip up as the kitchen was closed. This unexpected gesture set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience and because of this gesture of not even charging us for the food which was very unexpected, she has gained a forever and loyal customer from now on.
What truly set this experience apart, however, was the owner’s genuine enthusiasm and love for what she does. Despite the restaurant being closed, she took the time to not only prepare a meal for us but also share the story and inspiration behind each dish. This personal touch made us feel like treasured guests rather than mere customers.
In short, Miss Doner Kebab exceeded all our expectations. The combination of outstanding food, (even though we just got appetizers, can’t wait to order the main dishes), exceptional service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. We are thrilled to have discovered this gem and can’t wait to return for the official opening. If our experience is any indication,Miss Doner Kebab is set to become a beloved staple in the local dining scene.
Highly recommended! Thank you for whipping something up for us, we...

Read moreEvery visit here feels like coming home; warm welcomes, quick service, a clean space, and friendly staff. The owner, Ayten, is truly the heart of the restaurant, and the head chef is both talented and incredibly hospitable.
The food is fresh, flavourful, and always satisfying, with generous portions and unbeatable value. My go-to favorites are the Adana kebabs, lahmacun, beef and chicken pide, Hatay wrap, and their amazing desserts; especially the trilece and sutlac. I’ve also ordered many times on Uber Eats, and they’re just as consistent with quality, care, and even thoughtful little “thank you” or “enjoy” notes.
This place deserves all the support and recognition. If you haven’t visited yet, make sure you do; spread the word! Most of the time, I’m too quick to eat before I can even take a picture but I managed to snap this one after ordering take out this evening.
P.S. The Lahmacun photo might look like the portion is small, but it’s not; I just couldn’t fit the whole thing on the platter while trying to stage my...
