Nando's PERi-PERi (Corporate Office) — Restaurant in Mississauga

I am absolutely disgusted by the complete lack of hygiene at the Nando’s Sherway Gardens location. While picking up an order, I witnessed the cook working over the grill and handling chicken with an extremely long beard, completely uncovered though got a email back from an unclaimed an unnamed individual saying they had a beard net. I was there 2 feet away from the guy, I myself have a beard and I know what a beard net looks like especially when nothing is behind your ears to hold it together. No hairnet, no protective covering—nothing. This is a blatant disregard for mandatory health and safety requirements and shows zero respect for customers or food hygiene.

It’s revolting to think this is happening in the kitchen, especially with food being cooked right in front of customers. How can management allow this? Basic hygiene is not optional, especially in a restaurant.
