Was disappointed by so many things here. I also really hate when people make fake accounts on here building these restaurants up like that. Not right. To be honest, the pop is aycd which is awesome! The lunch price is $18.95 so you are sort of paying for your pop because he offers absolutely no deserts. The only chicken teriyaki is don. so you are loaded up with rice when you order it. If you order a green salad, expect to get a huge plate full of lettuce with a bowl of thousand island on the side. the sushi was very good, no complaints there. The tempura was the worst I have ever seen. I was actually embarrased when he dropped it off...yes he the chef is also the waiter, the dish washer, the order taker, the cashier...:0) Kind of sad. The tempura was more like a heavy, hard dough breading over a piece of vegetable (zucchini). Honestly it's sad, because the restaurant business is not easy by any stretch. he is an amazing sushi chef and should stick to that. He needs a friendly waitress, and someone to do the kitchen meals, because he isn't...

First off let me start by saying I am a regular customer here and and extremely disappointed with today's experience. I came in today and ordered the daily combo with chicken katsu and 8pc sashimi. After waiting about 35 minutes for my order I took it to go. When I got home I found out that the chicken katsu was burned to a crisp. I tried calling to inform them of the situation but no one picked up the phone. I drove back to the location and requested my chicken katsu be remade. I waited another 15 minutes and found my new order was half the size of the one I gave back to the restaurant and was also still a little overcooked. I didn't want to waste any more of my time so I just took it and left. I really hope this is an isolated incident but the trend in recent reviews appears to infer the quality of the restaurant is declining.

Edit: I gave them another try recently and the quality is back up. My chicken katsu was made correctly and portion sizes of all...

How is this place still in business? The interior looks like a run down fish and chips diner. Place is empty and yet service is slow. When writing out the order sheet the server told us that we had to write out the full names of the items as he could not tell which numbers match on the menu. No drinks were offered to the table till we asked for something 20 minutes later.

To summarize the block of text... this place is trash and please do yourself a favor and drive few blocks to at LEAST moon sushi or better.

Update after eating. You get what you pay for. Cheap lunch price ($13.99) for less variety. The food we got was good but the presentation is not there. It's like eating dog food that taste good.

Final thoughts being this place is good for ayce lunch on the weekends and nothing else because of the cheap price.
