Ahmed the manager is a scammer almost sent my family to the hospital.
I placed an order for two pizzas:
One 14-inch large pan pizza with green peppers and mushrooms
One Veggie Lovers pizza
Because I have a newborn at home, I sent my husband and toddler to pick up the order. When they arrived, the staff informed them that the order had not been placed. The manager then handed my husband two pizzas, assuring him they were correct, even after my husband asked for confirmation.
When the pizzas arrived home, I discovered that the green pepper and mushroom pizza had tomatoes on it. This is extremely concerning, as my toddler cannot eat whole tomatoes he can choke, which is why I specifically excluded tomatoes from the order. Consuming even a small amount could have resulted in a serious medical emergency.
My husband returned to the store, where the cashier admitted they had knowingly given us the wrong order. Despite this, the manager, Ahmed, dismissed the issue, refunded only $12, and offered no apology. When I later called to discuss the matter, he was dismissive and rude, insisting he had checked the toppings himself, even though the cashier had already acknowledged the mistake. His response was unprofessional and showed no regard for the seriousness of the situation.
This experience was not only frustrating but also posed a significant health risk to my child. The fact that staff knowingly provided the wrong order and the manager failed to take responsibility is unacceptable.
I would like this matter escalated and addressed appropriately. Please advise me on the next steps, as I believe this requires urgent attention to ensure no other family is put at risk due to...
Read moreI had possibly the worst customer experience of my life with Pizza Hut. I had guests over and placed an order online at 8:22 PM, the process was smooth and order was expected to be delivered by 8:53 PM as per the email confirmation. An hour and 15 minutes passed and no Pizza in sight so I called the store that my order was routed to, the Erin Mills location, and after giving the order information I was told the order is out and will be delivered “15 minutes tops”. Another hour passes so I called the store back and was routed to the call center and after being on hold for 10 minutes I was told their systems are down and that they can not do anything but route my call back to the store. I spoke to someone at the store and I was told my order is not with them but with another store, even though I called earlier and I was told: “15 minutes tops” which was a blatant lie just to get me off the phone. I called the other store and I was told they do not have my order and that it was not routed to them correctly and that there is nothing they can do for me at which point I lost my cool. Dear Pizza Hut, if you ever hope to compete in today's market you are not on the right track. Your systems are obviously archaic, your staff are not well trained, if at all, and not empowered to the point where they just do not care about customers and are plain rude. Today you have permanently lost my business and the business of all the guests I was entertaining. You seriously need to audit your processes and consider staff training. We live in a customer centric market where arrogance by companies will not be tolerated. If you truly wish to survive this age you need to go back to the...
Read moreI don't write reviews unless it's something particularly good or bad.
I ordered two Supreme Lovers' Pizzas. The deal was online, and stupidly, it would not allow you to even REMOVE toppings. So I had to rush to the location to ensure I told them before they start making it to leave meats off of one of the pizzas.
I asked if they could at least add one other veggie item like olives since they are saving the cost of three meats that I did not want. No go. Ok fine. How about at least adding a little more of the veggies that come with it. Can't do that either.
Looking at what they gave me, the toppings were so sparse, I could count the number of onions on it. When I asked why they are being so stingy with the toppings, they said the toppings are monitored and staff use measuring cups to determine how much to use.
I don't know how much they save by giving someone 5 less green peppers or olives, but it ruined the experience for me.
They said they are just staff and have no leeway or discretion in how much they can use. If that's the case, that is terrible policy.
I don't order pizza often, but when I do, I want to enjoy it with a decent amount of toppings, even if it means going somewhere else and paying more for it.
It's not a deal if they scrimp on the toppings.
They responded to my review with what looks like an auto-generated reply asking me to complete a survey. Are you kidding me? Have the decency to call and I can explain to you in 30 secs how you messed up, if you actually care. To save $1 in toppings, you've lost hundreds of dollars of...
